If you want to know why Caution hangs out with me, it's because I'm friendly (like I am with most people) and we can have civil conversations. He said today that he goes further to the right if he reads comments on this board because they're about canceling different opinions and shoving 1 view on everyone, especially the things that have been said in that centrism topic recently.

As I have often said, I don't really get moderated anywhere else. In general I'm a nice and chill person. I was definitely canceled for my beliefs.

My board wasn't political. And Assult, lightning and I were never leaders on the MAGA board with your friend gwwak, in fact his server put me on kos and lifetime ban status because I criticized how the board was handled.



Community boards started out like this, so that gave plenty of people the impression that they could do almost anything so long as it wasn't illegal. In fact board 1004 directly pointed to this post to say they could post the things they did. As for my board we only had 1 guy post a questionable drawn image and I told him it had to come down and he won't be doing it again.

I also never told people that there are no-rules boards, owner of board 1003. I never told people to flood other boards, owner of board 1438. Now they and others lecture me on following the rules. It's quite the thing to see.

I thought we put the hands-off rumor to rest 3 years ago. Somebody said "hi" on my old board and it got deleted. Somebody else had an nkl deleted for insulting a fictional character. My board seemed to be a hotspot of random deletions while other boards were....well I can't repeat the things that are in archived posts to this day. But yeah I guess those boards were hands-off when it came to, for example 1003 and 1004 because those were early boards given to the in-group.

Be nice to know how he managed that.

People noticed, they just don't create topics like that. You can tell which group does, because when one of their members gets moderated they will never make a topic about it.

I think if you had to sum up this topic, people are saying that there should be more room for political opinions (especially on the Politics board)

Seems like we are getting a lot of Purges nowadays, with this new entry in the Purge series upping the stakes. Here is my review.

So the idea of The Purge is that 1 day a year, all crime is legal. When the concept first came out everyone was curious about what that would be like, but let's be real, it was obviously always a bad idea and the more you think about it the less sense it makes. Subsequent Purge films tried to remain relevant through political takes and this one is no exception.

Forever Purge knows you've been through all this before if you're still with them in the year 2021, waiting for the nightmare to finally be over, but you keep coming back anyway. The standard Purge has lost its fear factor and everyone knows the game now, they barricade themselves in and ride it out fine. Here comes the new threat: Purge enthusiasts decide to strike the day AFTER the Purge and keep it going forever, hence the title. Longer purges to "purify" the country take place and the bad guys are going after anyone who doesn't think or look like them. The only solution for the protagonists/heroes is to flee the country entirely and watch everything they left behind burn from across the border.

The rest of the story is standard action-y suspense-y and if you're a Purge regular you know how it goes by now, it's just a sad situation. I give it a 6/10 and a meh, maybe it's time for the Purges to end.

Okay so this is going to be a double review since both will be small. I don't feel comfortable discussing a lot of scenes in either movie.

Censor is about this lady set in the height of Britain's "Video Nasty" campaign and she reviews the movie. As time goes on she descends into thinking one of the movies is a clue to finding her lost sister and the line blurs between reality and whatever's going on with her. At the end she rides off into the happy sunlight thinking all crime in the world has been eliminated because they did such a good job censoring all the stuff on screen and nobody's violent anymore. The reality is way different.

Violation has a lot of scenes set in this place called "nature" which I would like to get out and see more of, because it looks so gorgeous. The rest of the film is not very gorgeous at all. It was a serious violation. It jumped around and got....."artsy," I guess? Like it had some extended camera flying over the lake transitions or a bug on a finger, set to an aria or your typical creepy solo violin notes that you can find in plenty of other psychological horror stuff these days.

I wasn't really that impressed with either one but I guess I liked Violation more than Censor. Violation gets a 4/10 and Censor a 3.

He says that when 1 account got set to purg, this one went to purg as well. He thinks they're setting account status the same across the board for all accounts on usermap now.

We need true neutrality, a commitment to free speech, in order to achieve equal access for all. For too many people across the world who live under regimes that don't respect their rights, faster speed just means faster censorship. Our focus should be on ethics, morality, fair treatment and the preservation of the Bill of Rights.
