Most of my moderations seem pretty borderline. Every once in awhile I get one where I'm like yeah, I deserved that. And the other day I got a reversal on a moderation that was complete and total nonsense

I have notifications disabled via adblock so I have no clue what the fuck I get modded for since I never check
had to disable them via adblock since the bug to bypass the no mention feature is still a feature/active depending on how you view it

90% of my moderations come from telling someone they have a small penis.

All but one of my moderations on this account have been for joke topics. Occasionally, the mods feel one goes a bit too far. All such cases have really been more grey area than clear violations, but also not really worth the hassle of contesting.

The one exception is the one on my history right now (although - assuming that "no action" under the new system is equivalent to "accept" under the old one, given that there's no accept button anymore - it's due to purge today), which is a politically-flipped (but otherwise identical) remake of a topic I got modded for in the past, I was interested to see if they'd be consistent. They were consistent about if it got modded and how they explained it, but took much much longer to moderate this one...

I've had only one moderation ever, for posting a hip hop song, it contained offensive slurs.

They usually have a decent case, but they do this thing where once they see me doing something, they go through my history and will mod stuff in topics not posted in for a day so they can hit me with 3 at once. Not in awhile tho. But that could just be from me not pushing it as much as I use to.

the rules still somehow protect the users who should have been told to leave years ago. that being said, it doesn't happen very often. even when i get really frustrated, i generally know which lines not to cross.

I can't remember the last time I got modded. Sometimes I post shit that in my head I'm like "this is pushing it and probably will be modded", but it rarely happens.

The mods are wayyyyyyy more lenient than they were in the mid 2000s. Feels like you actually have to try and get modded now.

There's been changes even more recently than that. On my previous account - about 3 years ago - I got modded all the time for minor shit, to the point it just pushed me to not give a fuck anymore and eventually just not even bother making a new account. On this one I've only had the rare NKL. No significant difference in how I post now compared to pre-IDGAF times on that one.

There was a mod in the community forums who admitted that he would just delete posts simply because it was easier than no-actioning a dozen marks. So the question you have to ask yourself is, how much does the community hate you?

Because if youve got ten vindictive posters following you around and marking your posts then youre not going to last long. I mean, theres a reason that Allen turned off the ability for you to see a feed of someone elses posts. Its because the community is vindictive as shit.

They are given a long valid argument when I am making a valid point, I dont reply back when trolling.

sometimes I broke ToS but usually it was mod bias with their personal feelings on politics. but that doesn't happen nearly as much these days now that a handful of problematic posters are gone.

I also got modded for subjects that went beyond the comprehension of certain mods at the time, but now we all talk about those very things every day in the same context.. like mental illnesses.

I know we're only human and we're growing every day. but sometimes waiting for certain people to catch up can be a pain in the ass lol.

I always say my account was hacked, and it gets my moderations overturned like 80% of the time and they apologize profusely for not making my account more secure. Smdh mods

As I have often said, I don't really get moderated anywhere else. In general I'm a nice and chill person. I was definitely canceled for my beliefs.
