Resident Evil 2 (2019) was absolutely phenomenal. By far the greatest survival horror game I have ever played. Staring a Resident Evil marathon now and going on to Resident Evil Revelations. Also a very fun game so far (only about half an hour in). Enjoy that it is like RE2 and I can walk and shoot at the same time, though the third person camera is a bit claustrophobic.

Shovel Knight is supposed to be one of the playable characters

Not sure about playable character, but there is an enemy based off of Shovel Knight.

A whole lot of fun, I love Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow so to see another game on that level from IGA is amazing. It's closer to Aria which I like a lot because that was my first Castlevania game and the one I enjoy the most.

I'm interested in Leon/Claire and hear that the first CGI movie is the only thing that really continues on that relationship. I also hear the other two are just straight up zombie gunfu movies which has me interested.

Anyways, in February renowned anime dub voice actor Vic Mignogna got hit with hundreds of stories of being a creep that goes all the way back to the 90s. Many prominent people in the anime and convention industry confirm that he's a creep. But obviously literally every one of them are lying so he has a huge followers of supporters that love to pick fights with people who don't support him.

So he was fired and is suing FUNimation and a few of their workers for defaming him. His lawyer sent them legal paperwork trying to bully them into a settlement, FUNimation responded with "no let's go to court!" and now his lawyer is SCRAMBLING trying to find anything against them that Vic can use to try and save his ass.

One of the things he is suing them for is literally a fellow dubber referring to him as "a piece of shit" and the lawyer claims this is a misrepresentation of character as "Vic is not excrement".

It usually happens when you drop two long logs. Like the second log is cleaning the mess that the first one made. It's very satisfying. You wipe but the the paper stays white. You kinda have to dig in there to make sure for certain that it's completely clean though. 99% of the time you're g2g.

MW2 still has "Call of Duty" in the title.

it wasn't advertised as Call of Duty and all of the data on PS3 and Xbox only list it as "Modern Warfare 2". The only thing that refers to it as Call of Duty is the box art in tiny print.

Plaything through the RE2 remake and am in love with it. So much fun. I plan on playing in reverse release order and go from RE2:R to RE6 to RE5 to RE4 to REmake.

Only because I know the older games are more aged and not as fun as the other ones.

I've met one person I met online in real life.

I used to watch this small youtube channel where these two guys made comedic rants about video games. Years after it went defunct, I was watching one of the videos and noticed one of the guys Xbox Gamertag in it. I added him on Xbox and we became friends. Then a few years later we were both going to a Star Wars convention and I was waiting in line for one of the panels and I saw him exiting the line to use the restroom. Introduced myself, shook his hand, made smalltalk for the rest of the night. Haven't really talked to him since. Maybe once or twice a year.

I expect this years to be a pretty lowkey year, probably not many interesting new game announcements, but I am still looking forward to the events that Nintendo is having all week long!

Was a huge fan of the Xbox 360, had a PS3 but only used it for exclusives since pretty much everything else on that system was garbage (online, controller).

Then the whole Xbox One launch fiasco happened and I switched to PS4. Got an Xbox One later on but when Scalebound was cancelled I sold it so I could get money for the Nintendo Switch.

Then a year later I realized that even though the PS4 had better exclusives and 3x the installbase, none of my friends were on it. So I got an Xbox One X and have barely turned on my PS4 since. I just find the Xbox to be superior to the PS4 in terms of online/graphics and the controller is a lot better than the PS4's.

I believe something can only be a disorder if it actually causes mental harm. Therefore, trans people are not mentally ill. Not to say trans people can't get mental illnesses, many of them do, but not all of them.

Now let's not talk shit about subverting expectations. Subverting expectations is cool. But Rian Johnson fucked it up and forgot to also add actual plot development to the subversion.

For instance, Avengers: Endgame was also a film that subverted expectations, maybe even moreso than The Last Jedi, but it actually works because unlike Johnson, the Russo brothers respected every other filmmaker's work in the franchise and had actual good development and conclusions in the film.
