Frog is amphibious so he understands what it means to hop between two different realms.

In the movie he's going to use lillipads to explain how wormholes work, instead of pushing a pencil through paper.

I think it's less the copying and more the sharing. Consider that the majority of people busted for this stuff are usually uploading things as well.

As soon as you start handling distribution then you become the competition, and in capitalism the legal system works for whoever pays it the most. Since that's the entertainment industry, and not you, they get to use it to make random examples out of people in order to keep everyone else in line.

It's basically like Breaking Bad.

Everything with a female protagonist now is a total warzone, so it's hard to know who to believe.

I thought Ahsoka was pretty decent, and a lot of internet people were saying that it was bad and "woke." It really wasn't, but Dave Filoni directed that, and I'm not sure who directed this one.

Now I doubt Kyle Ritenhouse is rolling in money. He has previously had his own fundraising events to raise money for legal help. But I GUARANTEE he has access to the $3000 Wendy and Faith Rittenhouse are asking for. Or he knows someone he can ask. Come on. His mother stood by his side that whole time and this is how he thanks her?

This is the entire story BTW, after the recap, in the very last paragraph. An assumption that he isn't already helping his family out. I have literally no idea if he is or isn't, because there was no investigative journalism done here. It's just a hit piece on someone whose trial ended 3 years ago.

How come I never see any follow ups on these DeSantis stories? It's always Florida getting hit by some natural disaster, which is basically always, and it's all Ron's fault. But whenever I look over at Florida, they're cleaning up pretty quickly and the state is holding red.

Like, nothing this board says on this topic ever materializes. The Disney lawsuit against DeSantis just failed recently, and the "debt bubble" or whatever never happened either. We can all talk about red states ignoring global warming, but I think CE has a major blind spot of its own.

Kind of center honestly, but maybe in a weird wacky way.

Osborne ruled based on merit as opposed to any sort of class hierarchy, which provided a lot of upward mobility for the lower classes, so he's already somewhere in the liberal category. Very anti-nobility, although simultaneously pro ruling class (basically the Emperor's direct line of succession). Pro institution, and also weaponizing those institutions, because the ends justify the means. On the right side of things, he was very much a "might makes right" candidate, and used nationalist propaganda as an excuse for military expansion. I'd still place him somewhere in the center on policy. Could easily be an establishment candidate for either party.

Now, canonically speaking, he'd be a secret 3rd party candidate running as an establishment candidate in order to infiltrate the deep state and stop the Illuminati from causing the great reset. That's kind of what you're looking at when it comes to Trails of Cold Steel.

Turning Luke into a jaded hermit is perfectly fine, except he was put into a terrible, awful movie with no clear direction, that later had to backtrack everything because it led nowhere.

As it turns out, if you write a story that does everything the exact opposite of what people expect, then you just end up with the exact opposite of a good movie.

The way we calculate distance is either flawed or there's something else going on. Same issue with "dark matter." Some galaxies have a lot, while others have very little, so it's either wildly inconsistent or we made it up.

Basically, we have a lot of data but none of it is lining up. Maybe Einstein 2 will save us.

Sub_Tank
03/19/24 9:45:36 PM

Kefka was memorable, but I wouldn't say he was a well written character.

Like most of the cast of FF6, Kefka's story was a bit lacking. They never give a good explanation for why he was given so much power, or why he was so close to Emperor Gestahl. He was clearly a loose cannon, and wasn't particularly great at his job, but everyone was forced to tolerate him anyway.

You'd typically expect this to mean he was secretly the Emperor's son (or illegitimate son), but as far as I know he was just some random ass dude. Even if he was the prototype for Magitek knights, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to keep him around.

I mean, Palpatines rise was a perfect unintentional foreshadowing of the Trump presidency and Project 2025. Those who were supposed to check Trumps power chose not to. Those who were supposed to check Palpatines power were effectively mind controlled not to.

Whats the difference exactly? In both cases theres one lesson to learn - you can break any law you want if those who are meant to punish you for it do nothing (or worse, support you).
Not really. Palpatine represents an internal threat to democracy. All the MAGA stuff is more of an external force, which would be closer to the Trade Federation or the separatists being villains of the week. A real Palpatine would publicly oppose to that movement in order to gain power.

Anyway, Trump is obviously just Jabba the Hutt with classified documents under his throne instead of a rancor.

But yeah, all our private data is basically going directly into ClippyAI. There's no stopping it.

The Jedis were more dangerous due to their stupidity, which is why the force had to be balanced.

Keep in mind, the Jedis chose to train a mentally unstable kid in the force, and then told him not to care about the mom that they intentionally left behind to die as a slave. Somehow Jar Jar got a free ride to safety, but Anakin's mom didn't. Some negotiators.

It's good for society to provide male and female role models for children, even when it's not wrapped up neatly into a single unit. Basically stop trying to dismantle the family.
