It's finally time! Gen 7 has been around long enough, smogon have some idea of a tiering system now, let's have some Random Battles!

If you're new to this, PRBL features a number of board 8ers playing Random Pokemon Battles on Pokemon Showdown (www.pokemonshowdown.com) at the rate of 1 match (consisting of up to 3 games) a week over something like 12 weeks (depending on number of entrants). A Random Battle is exactly what it sounds like - you're given a team of 6 random (fully evolved, or any of the NFEs that get played with eviolite, who are guaranteed to hold an eviolite) Pokemon with random (viable) movesets. Because this takes out the huge barrier to entry of Pokemon sims which is team building, it's a super easy way to enjoy some online Pokemon battles.

Once sign ups are closed, all the entrants will be divided into groups - I don't know how many yet, I make this shit up as I go - and then each group will be contested in a Round Robin format. The top finishing users in the group stage will then face off in one final single elimination bracket, as is Board 8 tradition.
