Solfadore 02/17/18 9:59:45 AM #21 | To clarify, cheap/unfair bosses are few and far between, but there are some. This does not apply to other hard bosses, such as --- When you have nothing to say, quote yourself ~ Solfadore |

Solfadore 02/16/18 7:12:50 PM #2 | Pros: - Good atmosphere - Flavorful areas - A lot of content - surprisingly so from an indie game. Full completion takes around 20-25 hours. - A lot of freedom - after the first few areas, the game opens up and you're (relatively) free to do it in whatever order you want. Cons: - The flipside is that the mid-game can feel a bit aimless depending on the order in which you tackle the areas. - Some of the bosses are a bit too hard - and even unfair/cheap at times. Overall a solid Metroidvania that's worth a play IMO. --- When you have nothing to say, quote yourself ~ Solfadore |

Solfadore 11/19/17 10:43:36 AM #30 | It's also one of the hardest areas on a level 1 run, precisely because most of the difficulty comes from the enemies rather than the platforming. --- When you have nothing to say, quote yourself ~ Solfadore |

Solfadore 11/18/17 12:11:37 AM #17 | I wouldn't neglect red if I were you - the skills that improve the damage and/or attack rate of the Spirit Flame (standard attack) are extremely useful. You really notice the difference between not leveling these up and doing so. The non-Spirit Flame red skills are pretty bad though. Green is pretty good, although the next 3-4 skills you can unlock are pretty meh. The last two are godly though. Purple is easily the worst tree - the first skill is a necessity; all the others can wait until you've maxed the other two branches. Red = Green > Purple IMO. --- When you have nothing to say, quote yourself ~ Solfadore |

Solfadore 10/04/16 11:32:33 AM #14 | The Qarth arc's placement is pretty good here, and I agree with the analysis. The main problem with Dany arcs is that post-S1 Daenerys is not a compelling character and Emilia Clarke, not a compelling actress. Iain Glen (Jorah) is doing absolutely all he can to make this part of the plot compelling, but he's all alone in S2, and Jorah alone can't save a plotline by himself. --- When you have nothing to say, quote yourself ~ Solfadore |
