I'll post my thoughts from the horror topic here.

In general I love meta stuff but it really has to strike a good balance; the "CYOA" commentary was good, so was all the concepts of free-will, and the predesignated ending, but the ending with the "game" being developed for Netflix definitely went too far. I also wish there could've been hidden third options for when you didn't want to choose between two, I tried a couple of times anyway and it always just chose something for you. Not too big a deal but would've been a nice touch for some scenes in particular. I do also want to put a spotlight on like every performance, they really helped carry the episode at times, especially Will Poulter. The Jerome F. Davies background story was scary and neat too.

I'd like to see this type of concept explored some other time, there's definitely room for improvement here.

Yes I have, they are decently scary but painfully slow. Only the most patient gamers need apply. If I had to recommend one though it would be Echo Night: Beyond for PS2.

If I had to go with just one, it's Spec Ops: The Line. It really pushed game narrative for me, it still astounds and affects me deeply on every playthrough, right up there with Silent Hills 2 & 3.

Overwatch and Resident Evil 7 are close contenders though.

I have not played The Silver Case however I do believe the opening chapter is a direct continuation of Moonlight Syndrome. In general the game also shares the same setting and a few characters.

I used what was translated initially then I had a friend help me out the rest of the way.

It's a very slow-paced game but the atmosphere and horror is really top-notch, I would recommend it just for that, it's really the main draw of it.

It's like a visual novel with more focus on atmosphere, music, and sound design rather than art direction. Plenty of horror themed ones on the PS1.

Noble Nine members + Zelda

1. Solid Snake
Pretty easily the best member, the only character of the bunch I call a favorite.

2. Cloud Strife
He's not the best FF character but he's interesting enough with a neat backstory and good chemistry with the cast.

3. Samus Aran
A progressive character for her time with some neat characteristics that speak to her profession and gender.

4. Sephiroth
Classic villain but I never really found him very subtle in his mannerisms or motivations.

5. Sonic the Hedgehog
I loved Sonic as a kid, he's got that classic 'tude but he's a bit corny in the 3D games.

6. Zelda
Zelda is usually the character with the most personality and best arc, depending on the game anyway.

7. Mega Man
I've never really cared for the MM games so much but he's a cool protagonist.

You can't hate on Mario, but I was a Sonic guy growing up.

He isn't bad but silent protags don't hold my interest too much.

Christmas songs/carols

1. The Eagles - Please Come Home for Christmas

So much pain and passion put into this performance. It touches me so deeply, and I can't help but sing along with it every time it comes on.

2. The Pogues ft. Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York

Love how it starts off slowly before shifting into a more fast-paced groove. I like the scenes the song portrays, and how it shows that bitterness and sweetness can co-exist on a day like Christmas.

3. Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards in Winter

The best excuse to listen to metal on Christmas. The instrumental work kicks so much ass.

4. The Killers - Don't Shoot Me Santa

The entire Killers christmas catalog is excellent but their first is a real stand-out. The lyrics are dark and hilarious and yet it still works as a Christmas song.

5. Ramones - Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)

The perennial punk rock Christmas classic. It's surprisingly sweet.

6. The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping

The song's narrative is a lot of fun and I like how it goes through a whole variety of holidays along the way. Plus the instrumental work is great and so is the vocal delivery.

7. Michael Buble - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

This version is amazing, I love the rockin' groove to it and the "please" part is so well-delivered.

8. The Good Lovelies - Auld Lang Syne

The harmonies are beautiful and I love the transition to the upbeat style mid-song.

9. Taylor Swift - Christmases When You Were Mine

I can't believe this song isn't bigger. It's extremely emotional and touching.

10. August Burns Red - Sleddin' Hill

ABR's entire Sleddin' Hill album is incredible but this is a true stand-out as an original track. Talented stuff from the band.

Fast food restaurants

1. McDonald's
Easily has the best fries of any place and their quarter pounder is so satisfying.

2. Burger King
I like the flame-broiled taste of their burgers and their chicken is great.

3. Popeye's
I love the crispy skin of their chicken, so good.

4. Subway
Subway gets a bad rap a lot of the time but I've never had a bad experience from 'em.

5. Pizza Hut
Pretty top tier as far as fast food pizza goes.

6. White Castle
You get so much value for your buck.

7. Cinnabon
They got some good stuff but it's way too unhealthy to eat there too often.

8. Dunkin' Donuts
Tasty and their hash browns are great, but sometimes I get it burnt or made wrong which can get annoying.

Kind of disappointing but occasionally has its moments.

10. Domino's
It's either cardboard or amazing, I'd rather take the sure bet Pizza Hut.
