| Snake5555555555 03/15/23 12:06:19 PM #133 | While I'm confessing my Resident Evil secrets - I didn't actually play the Shadows of Rose DLC until just this week. What did everyone think of this DLC? Never really saw too many reactions so I could avoid spoilers. I thought it was some interesting experimentation overall, and the doll / mannequin sections were really cool and scary on their own, but on the other hand this just fell so far outside of RE's wheelhouse for me. This really almost felt like a Silent Hill game or something, or even a throwback to RE4's hookman prototype. Plus the reused assets were pretty boring and lazy and however they tried to make things feel different wasn't enough. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Rose as a character though and thought she had some nice closure with Ethan, but I'm prepped for disappointment when Rose makes zero subsequent appearances after this. --- I've decided to put my fears behind me.
