That's the thing with these test torturing. They are t teaching you the materials on the exam they are just teaching you how to take the exam. I can't speak on all of them of course, but the ACT prep that I went to only taught us what to look for in verbiage. How the question is structured? Finding clues on what the answer is based on the layout of the question. That's not exercising intelligence. That's how to game the system.

My wife is one and all she does is push excel all day ie fixing ledgers, sending out letters of how much people owe, and just overall accounting stuff. She works for affordable housing in SF. She just goes thro thousands of tenants in an excel spreadsheet and put in if they paid rent or not.

Honestly just seems like learning excel thro and thro would be more beneficial

Edit- my wife's major was hospitality. The only reason why she got the job was because she was able to explain some excel function that she learned in class one time that she somehow remembered.
