As for Lakitu, he eliminates potential shortcuts which kinda sucks but he gets you back into the race faster which I prefer. I can't see myself bringing a $500 console around with me in public. I am so over the motion and touch control phase for gaming. When I play my PS4, it's so simple - one controller and you're good to go. With the Wii U and Switch, you have Wii Remotes, Nunchuks, Pro Controllers, adapters, Joycons, etc. Bringing my Wii U places was a nightmare because of the controllers. Plus my VC library is kinda gutted since the GC adapter is only used for Sm4sh and GC controllers were how I played multiplayer VC games on the original Wii before I did a system transfer. The Switch is less of a mess but I dislike Joycons and I just miss the simpler Nintendo days. As for the video......I think I'm just gonna stick to my Pro Controller lol --- Delicious and vicious, while maliciously nutritious. |

I usually trade in my older consoles when the next gen comes out (then I stupidly buy all the ports and remasters that I just played during the previous gen) but I'll be hanging onto my Wii U thanks to the VC games I have. My only problem with it is the GC controller adapter doesn't work on it so I can't play games using my GC controllers like I could with the Wii. Unfortunately the later seasons went downhill at a 90 degree angle, but that doesn't take away my enjoyment of the earlier episodes.
