That sounds about right. Especially as I've had the top score in the league 4 of the last 5 weeks. So I fully expect the entire team to take a dump this week.

EDIT: Oh, ESPN has a nice chart that makes this easy to check. If I had played this dude every week of the season I'd be 11-4 and he hasn't outscored me since W9. I am +260 points better than him since W9.

I'm looking at my team in my big money 12 man league and if I don't win it's a travesty. Here's my team by position ranks for the season

My bench is filled with people that range from #8 to #25 at their position. I only have 1 guy outside that range and that is due to injury

My opponent in the final has 2 players who have done better. He has #1 RB and his WR1 is #4 (His second WR is #43, all 5 of my WRs are 25 or better). Every other position he is worse at.

It's comical how good Isaac is yet how underrated he still is.

Isaac went off injured last night. The result? A 30 point swing immediately afterwards in a like 8 minute stretch. A 20 point lead was eliminated in 5 minutes.

Have you looked at his clutch stat because it sounds like that's what being applied there.

A lot is due to the clutch where he shoots 58.2% from the field, 68% from 2 points with a lot coming from midrange. His 3rd quarter numbers still see an upswing too from the 1st half too though.

It's probably because the paint becomes more congested down the stretch and Isaac just takes the open midrange shots instead of trying to do something under the basket or kick it out for 3.

Looking into stats for our show and Jonathan Isaac slaps analytics in the face. His offense has started to blossom but it seemingly only happens in the second half. So I looked into why.

In the second half he reduces his attempts at the basket in order to take more long midrange shots (typically 15-18ft range). So he's exchanging one of the more efficient shots for one of the least efficient. It should have terrible results except it doesn't because Isaac increases his FG% from long midrange by 50% in the second half

He shoots 75% from 15ft and 82% from 20ft in the second half. It defies all logic

The 1 seed in our league lost by 2.2 points in the semi-finals and is super pissed as he only lost due to the Saints running up the score (his opponent had Brees)

The one on Gamestop at least is marked as a V2 so I assume the newer version

The fiancee has expressed in a Nintendo Switch so I'm going to pick her one up for Xmas.

I have no idea what the best deals out there are or if I should get her a Switch or a Switch Lite. She'd use it mostly portable but I'm guessing the Switch is still a better bet as there's always the option to hook it up to the TV still?

The best deal I've seen in a quick search is Gamestop is doing it for $300 and you get a $30 gift card with it. Does that sound about right or is there a significantly better deal out there?

christ, I had multiple WRs (Periiman, Miller) blow up on my bench this week that I chose to sit in favor of Beasley

I mean, I'm up by like 50 anyways (Ekeler+Zuerlein+Beasley + 53 vs Beckham + Fournette + Mostert + Higbee + Lutz + NO D/ST) and I initially picked those guys up as keep-aways from my opponent but still feels a little bad

At the start of the day I was projected to win but it said with a 50% chance (was like a 0.2 difference in points projections). Right now I have a 70% chance to win and projected to win by 40 points. I'm not banking on anything though as I was basically in the reverse scenario last week and won

Our playoffs give a 5 point advantage to the higher seed. If I make the playoff finals I will be the lower seed.

Congrats on the Superbowl win KCF! I know you mentioned you will probably move teams now but I just want to reiterate that if you want to stay with the Dolphins you absolutely should. You shouldn't feel like you have to change teams for our sake.

Glad to see Richardson won although I didn't expect that at all, didn't vote for him myself. Can't wait for next season and to see how my players ratings changed this year as I think I actually had contributions from some rookies and other young players for a change. So of course I will be back next season.

Anyway, cheapest seats for tomorrow are $90. Given the circumstances of my tickets, I tweeted I wanted $150 for the pair and would meet at the stadium to transfer them. Someone who doesn't even follow me (or anyone I know) bought them within 45 seconds of the initial tweet. I have to assume they are a Lakers fan.

This backfired. It randomly allocated me $200 each seats.

Jonathan Isaac is ridiculous. 2 blocks in the firts 30 seconds of the game (both separate possessions), 3 blocks in the first 3 mins. 4 blocks in the first 7 mins including a block on Giannis.

He should have 5 blocks but someone wisely decided to pass as he was about to block a 5th.

He may be on course for a triple double with blocks tonight

We did try it one year and I'm not sure why he didn't stick to it. I think if ESPN had better customization options we would do like first rounds of playoffs 1 week and the others 2 weeks but it's all or nothing.

It's looking like I will be eliminated in both my playoffs after being top scorer in the league.

League 1 - Up by 13, Projected to lose by 22
League 2 - Up by 38, Projected to win by 5 (but it tends to really underrate defensive projections and he has 2 def players left)

I will be fuming if i lose both. More so about League 1 where my LB took a shit and I almost subbed him out but opted against it.

I basically need the Chiefs to have a stinker against the Pats. He has Mahomes and Tyreek (but I do have Kelce)

Yeah I play PPR. I should probably mention there's a minor bonus to RB's for volume. We give 0.2 points per rush attempt to try close the non pass catching RB's upto the WR field for flex position purposes.

Fantasy football choices are driving me crazy this week, especially as it's playoffs and my game is projected to be super close. Can't decide between:

2 WR's to play from - Sutton, Chark, Woods, Boyd (Have Thielen too but he's out)
Flex spot from - Ekeler, Drake, Powell (and whoever is left out from the above)

Right now I have Sutton, Chark, Ekeler in.

Chark worries me because he's playing a secondary that has done well against the pass so he could bust. And with the flex I think Drake will see higher volume (against a better D) and Powell has a monster matchup against the Dolphins. Ekeler just seems a safer pick though

Only reason I'm upset that we are 2 is because it means we play in the Fiesta Bowl instead of Peach. If we had played in the Peach Bowl I'd have driven to the game as it's only like 6 hours. Flights to Arizona are going to be stupidly priced though, cheapest was $550 when I checked a minute ago.

I don't have a problem with the rankings, was just hoping we would be 1 so that I could go to the game.

Usually I would say that the 1 seed doesn't really matter but I think it's pretty clear this year that the top 3 are significantly ahead of the 4 seed and that getting that 1 seed could be important in terms of not getting dinged up for the finals as much

Fultz haters are so annoying. They keep moving the goalposts. It's gone from he can't shoot at all and can't shoot FT's to he can't shoot because his 3PT% is shit.

His medical report right now is that he's still recovering and does not have the arm strength to shoot 3s. It's pretty clear if you watch him shoot 3s that it's not a lie. The numbers also support it.

Fultz is 47.1% from midrange (18th best in the league). He's 21% from 15ft+. That is a massive drop off from midrange to 3pt range which clearly isn't down to being able to shoot.

The not being able to return to the game if you don't shoot the FT rule is balls. This just happened in the Magic game
