Holy shit, I thought you were joking by coming up with some absurd statement about how slow progress has been on this book. Then I looked it up.

Regardless, as someone that knows next to nothing about the books or TV series, I don't see why he doesn't just cancel the last book in the series and make WoW a bit longer to give proper conclusions to all the story threads. It's not like he's incapable of brevity; I read Nightflyers and didn't find it to be a slog at all.

Yeah that sounds about like PSO, which wasn't an MMO but was still an online RPG from that time. In that game after picking your class (which your character's gender is tied to), all you could do was just adjust your character's height and build, choose from a few preselected faces and hairstyles, and select the colors of your outfit and hair.

I remember that there were some that tried to use it to criticize people in general that spewed stock talking points. Images from said people ended up being a mixture of legitimate criticisms and "bOtH sIdEs".

There was one image that showed a conversation between a Trump supporter and an "NPC" that began with the Trump supporter shouting out "Make America Great Again" followed by the NPC repeating some left wing talking point. At that point I thought that it was going to be one of those comics making fun of both sides, but then the comic ended up showing the NPC malfunctioning like a robot. I was absolutely astounded by the lack of self awareness of the person who made that comic given that he opened it with a shitty right wing catch phrase.

Don't waste your money on a console version of Doom. Get The Ultimate Doom and Doom II on PC and use those games' main data files, known as .WAD files, on GZDoom and set up the controls to use a PS4 controller. That way you can play Doom on your TV with a controller AND have access to the metric shit ton of mods that have been made available over the years.
