Overall, it was fine but nothing special. There's no one right way to play the game, you can kind of do your own thing. I ended up killing so many outlaws that they eventually stopped attacking me and just ran away, which was kind of funny. Theres definitely been times I havent voted because my choice has no chance or even anti voted. First listen done. My initial impression ranged from eh to zzz. I perked up a bit in the 2nd half. But if I have to dodge for unmarked trailer spoilers too then I might as well stop reading the topic. I understand its a minority position and the reveals are things you might not consider major but I still just dont get it. It completely changes your mindset when watching a movie as youre waiting to see the stuff from the trailer. I dont want to even know which characters, new or old, are in something. Can you imagine watching NWH completely blind? Seeing Strange in it would have been neat though not out of the ordinary. First book was a chore the first time through (loved it way more on a reread), then the second book was supreme quality from start to finish. The first book isnt bad as much as it is formulaic. You can just see all the Fellowship of the Ring influences. Book 2 is where the series starts coming into its own. And Book 4 is where the series starts to break away for its own formula it follows over the first 3 books. Champion #1 had me stumped for a while until I realized what to do, where I promptly lucked into the hidden exit to warp to #4. Which is good because Champion is pretty fucking tough. Of the ten stages, I think I beat 4, warped past 2, and skipped 4. I did beat #10 though! The top of the ranking wasn't clear cut; there wasn't a single runaway favorite. I'll second the great outro to Dear God; that song continued to grow on me each time I heard it. Book 2 is one of my favorites, so if you dont like that one Id also say to drop it. I dont recommend the show at this point. Yes, seeing some visuals is cool but it makes some fairly significant changes from the books in order to adapt to the screen. I am waiting for the next season with trepidation. It should be covering a lot of Book 2 stuff. Of course, then you'll have 3-4 "easy" stages in a row. Sometimes it feels like my best shot is my initial go.
