A while back, maybe almost a year, my great aunt gave me a ring with a real diamond in it. I loved it. Once day at school however, I was walking to my third or fourth class and I noticed the ring somehow slipped off of my finger. (It was a little loose, but not loose that I figure it would go around my finger joint and fall off unfelt)...

Well, I never found it and it crushed me.

Sometime at a later date, she gave me a set of earrings with real diamond in them too. Here I am, sitting, wearing them and I am about to pull them out.... and one is missing.

Fml.

I'm just not allowed to have hand-me-downs from relatives. I don't understand how the fuck an earring would fall out like that so easily on my second day wearing them whereas, my steel studs never fall out.

I mean what the fucking fuck. When I realized it wasn't there, my heart sank.

I should just never wear jewelry again. I'm just fucking awful with it. Especially jewelry other family members give me. :(

I am legit a master at the crane games in arcades and bowling alleys. It's all about physics, weight distribution, and balance.

I was asked to leave a bowling alley once after spending $6.00 and getting 11 stuffed animals ($0.50 cents per play)

I was even giving them to children ffs. They were huddling around me cheering when I got one, and I gave the prize to one of them. It was a life defining moment and a slap from humanity when asked to quit.

That was me when I was little. My brother and I were like...10? And we would get a cardboard box and the fireplace fire log tongs and made our own crane game out of it. It was super fun. I had a hummingbird I loved. And a few dogs and so many things.

Washington (CNN)On Tuesday night, Democrats flipped two Republican-held state legislative seats -- one in Oklahoma, one in New Hampshire -- that Donald Trump carried in the 2016 election.

That makes six turnovers from Republican to Democrat in contested state House and Senate races so far in 2017 -- and 26 out of 35 races (at the state legislative and congressional level) in which the Democratic nominee has overperformed Hillary Clinton's showing last November. Because as far out as this sounds, it is protected by the Trump Administration and surely is protected by Mississippi and Alabama law.

The Christian doctor would perform the operation but not because the government requires him to do it.

But again, you're confusing compelling action with restricting it. Government can't force a doctor to perform surgery if he doesn't want to. Telling someone "this is where you pee" isn't forcing you to pee there, because there are options like going home, or using a unisex bathroom. They are two completely different classes of issues.

Even in Boston, it can take an hour to find a unisex bathroom. I live almost an hour south of Boston. (I use the women's room anyways but for the hypothetical...) .... if I were to come into Boston and had to pee, I shouldn't have to hunt down a unisex bathroom to go pee. They aren't very common. At all. Some places do it like small shops with one bathroom in it, but most places separate bathrooms. (Personally, ALL single-bathrooms should be unisex. I don't see the point in having these sex-segregated)

My source on this is based on my own experience. I would avoid drinking all day in Boston, then take an hour train trip south with a bursting bladder just to get home to pee. No one should have to experience that.

Going back to the doctor thing though. A life is a life. If you deny to save that life and you have the ability, I hope that doctor knows they are responsible for the failure of that life. And I hope they live with it on their conscience until the day their religious figure in the sky calls for their exiling to the underworld.

See, I understand the "if I own my own cafe, I can kick out Asians if I want to" freedom, as much as it is I hope their business burns..... but life and death saving commitments should be done by non-religious, non discriminatory people. Enough said. If you cannot commit to that, then you deserve no job.
