being efficient, until you clear out the exchange, the yellow watermelon event highest level co-op battle is imo the best use of energy right now. but not if you don't have a character who can clear it, and also not if the character you can clear it with is already at 50. if you can be leveling a character there though it's great payoff until the exchange is empty

So this is the Thrawn I've heard so much about. I was thinking about reading the Thrawn books after I finish up with the Mistborn trilogy. I know they're not canon, but I've heard good things.

There's some canon Thrawn material now from the author of the OG trilogy. It's not as good, imo, but it's pretty good.

as for the auto battles - i've reached a couple battles where you might want to intervene on targeting (there's some boss fights in the battle tower that come with adds which blow up for enormous damage on the boss, or alternately there's times where there's adds up but a boss is charging an attack and your guys are still fighting the adds)

And yeah, that makes sense. I remember Record Keeper feeling pretty overwhelming to me. Still, it's a real shame this genre's preservation standards are virtually nonexistent, because that game had such a cool concept!

The moment I realized you can fully automate battles outside of limit breaks, I clicked it and never looked back. Which, in most cases, would mean I don't care for a battle system, yet... I still like the way it works here? Weird. I just trust the AI knows what it's doing, and if I start to notice gaps in that trust, I'll do what I have to do.

I've been speaking with a few colleagues etc who are falling off hard, because the gacha is just too in-your-face, or whatever, and I'm remembering all those times I tried getting into Record Keeper/Moebius/so forth when they were hot here on B8, and it never happened, and I'm wondering what's changed. Me, maybe? Or maybe I'm happy to be playing on decent hardware (an iPad Air 5) - the big screen helps.

Or maybe it's just the graphics in general. Game is pretty.

The anime grunts issue is absolutely a problem I'll admit, and FF7R may be the worst offender of them all. Some of these voice directors just can't it through there head that ellipses aren't meant to be voice acted. When you play FFXVI and it DOESN'T have this problem it stands out all the more.

It's really quite simple you see, Final Fantasy comes in two distinct labels, Anime Dew and Matsuno-Cola, we've always known what we're getting based on what's right there on the tin, Ramza would never anime grunt, but we all know Zell would
