| SaintAkira7 01/23/20 1:41:52 PM #89 | Very casual anime fan here. Ended up watching A Silent Voice pretty much on accident last night (my oldest daughter put it on, just before bed time). Hadn't heard of it before, went in completely blank, not expecting what I got, which was a boatload of feels. We both stayed up well past our bedtimes to watch the whole thing (2 hours +), and it was beautiful. Heartily recommend to anyone, and definitely to parents of older (even preteen) kids with even the slightest disposition to watching anime, if somehow, someone is 9 pages deep ITT and doesn't already know about the movie and is on the fence.
