To add to this, your hands are also noob tools. They're fine to use while you're getting your bearings and learning the game, but at the end of the day, they're a crutch and you should work towards weaning yourself off of them and use your tongue and forehead to press the buttons instead.

Shields have their uses, but it's best to never depend on them 100%.

The Grass Crest shield (found early in the game) can be used while benefiting it idle stamina regen.

Essentially: use what you want, including shields, as long as you're still able to roll.

You aren't better in any way because you don't use shields. There's multiple legit ways to play the game, sword and board among them.

Different in Elden Ring when it has extra mechanics built around guard counters tbqh, but really pros gave no place to mock anyone lol

Demons Souls has the only final boss you can easily beat dual wielding shields

metal gear really destroyed the concept of stealth
The two new deus ex games hr and md can be done like it too
deus ex and deus ex (that shall not be named) can kinda be done in combat but the engine is terrible for it

It's mostly the act of social stealth. So finding the right disguise that gets you access to the right areas. It's pretty unique.

Yeah thats fair. I got 3 from a library after the new update and I'm gonna have to put a LOT of time into it. Games are genuinely great.

I do it often enough that I question my mental health lol but it can be silly fun

This is not a popular take, but I think Watch Dogs 2 and Legion are pretty solid if you approach them as stealth games.

I need to try them they've been on my radar for awhile

Hitman or Dishonored

Dishonored definitely came to mind and is probably the closest. Also need to try Deathloop, im sure it's different but after learning Arkane did Dark Messiah I will play anything they put out

With stealth as an option but allowing a ton of different methods of play and with a lot of extra details

Watching a GDQ speed run and apparently Kojima showed it off personally

If you're down to emulate something, Wind Waker with a randomizer is a blast. I went through a run recently (first time playing Wind Waker outside of one or two runs I dropped before reaching Dragon Roost) and had a great time.

Randomizer scare me but the Lttp one does look cool

Move your punishments up one offense and add a 6 month driving ban for first offense and I'm good. I want a light tolerance for first time offenders but after that it should be a heavy hand.

Idk why appearing in a movie vs TV show needs a distinction. TV gives them way more screentime so it's better for exposure anyway.

Mostly because it's a LOT easier to fit a minor character in a show rather than a movie

Honestly, I'm ok with starting with Damien as long as you introduce the general Bat family. Huntress, Oracle, Robin, Nightingale, the works.
