I actually have played Portal Knights!

It was alright but honestly Minecraft does everything it does 1000x better. The only exception is boss fights, which isn't even to say Portal Knights has good boss fights, Minecraft just doesn't have any. You can even install mods in Minecraft to create portals to other worlds if that's what you really want.

The ending of LiS didn't leave much room for a direct sequel so I'm not expecting one. There also isn't much more they can do with time travel since we already know the consequences of messing with time so messing with time again would be lame. I hope they have a completely new cast of characters centered around a new supernatural power.

This isn't a competition and there's no prize for winning aside from a sense of accomplishment. This is just a fun thing to participate in while we all work through our video game libraries. It also gives us a place to discuss what we're playing. Feel free to join in!

Hey, I have a quick Ace Attorney question that I hope no one minds me asking here

I'm planning to play DD and SoJ soon-ish, but it's been a really long time since I played the first four games. Would I benefit from finding a synopsis somewhere to refresh my memory or are the newer games not too interconnected with the older ones? Obviously I assume I'll be alright either way, I'm just wondering if it might be worth it for callbacks or returning characters and whatnot. Like, when I played AAI2 last year I nearly forgot Frank Sahwit was a character I'd met before, and I imagine the mainline games will have more of that than the spinoff titles did.

I was wary going in, but this visual novel actually wasn't bad. I related with the main characters and overall theme a lot. The choices also never felt restrictive, and I was able to guide everyone to exactly the end I envisioned for them. I can't recommend it too highly, especially not over truly great VNs I've played recently like Highway Blossoms, The House in Fata Morgana, or even Steins;Gate, but I don't regret my time with it. Sometimes buying random indie games on Steam pays off! And other times it leads to absolute junk like Punch Club but oh well, this is the life I chose.

What a thoroughly disappointing game. I'll admit, I haven't played Banjo-Kazooie in fifteen years, but I remember loving it. YL had almost none of the BK magic, and it replaced all that fun with frustration. Levels were all poorly designed, usually just stringing together challenge sections. The camera was horrendous. The final boss had, like, ten stages and each of them was annoying. What a letdown.

Thanks for the tag! I've actually been following along and looking up a few names I don't recognize, but I'm not sure how much I have to contribute. I don't watch anywhere near enough TV or movies to cast anything. The last movie I saw the whole way through was back in 2015.

Still, if they made a Life is Strange movie I'd probably watch it fifteen times, so people here hypothetically casting it has been interesting. Just to make one comment, I agree with Johnbobb that Ashly Burch would probably make a great live-action Chloe.
