Imagine C&C where you can only control ten units and the units can't kill anything and you don't build bases and the enemies constantly respawn and they have 10x the amount of units you have at a maximum and all of their units are more powerful on an individual level than your entire army

That was my last half hour of trying to beat the first GDI mission before disgust finally overwhelmed my intrigue at seeing how awful it was.

I just want to say that I ****ing hate the Gamestop (well in Canada the store is EB Games but whatever) policy of having everything behind the counter and the games on the shelf just empty boxes that don't mean anything. I'm always torn between trying to remember the six games I want when I go to the counter or risking looking like a fool and just grabbing the boxes anyway.

Plus half the time the new releases are all on a really distant shelf behind the counter and I can't stand there browsing that without an employee asking if I need help every thirty seconds. No, I don't need help, I'm just seeing what you have back there because it's the only reliable indicator of your stock.

On this very board not a week ago, someone made a topic called 'if you've never played a Dota-like game...'

If he'd made it 'If you've never played a MOBA-like game' roughly 60% less people would've known what he meant. That name might catch on eventually, but for now in the minds of people who barely care about the distinction, they say 'Let's play some DOTA" and then fire up LoL or something. My friends even do this.

Rasmussen is indeed known as being absolute BS. The Gallup is far more damning, but it's both too early to properly judge the reaction and too far from the election for any reaction to matter.

In any case, don't trust polls. In my recent provincial election, one party was consistently at 40% or more, with the next competitor being 30% or less. The actual election saw the 30% party win easily.
