I took my normal 6 month break or so, turned around and it was gone. It did look like it happened fairly quickly. Brevik left early in 2016 and things seemed okay at the time, it was around the middle of 2017 when the whole thing basically appeared to disintegrate. 5 months after the game launched on consoles Gazillion was lights out, doors locked dead. The servers were killed like a month before they were scheduled to. There was definitely a significant amount of head scratching, and I imagine not just by players. |

The game's future seemed okay for a while after he left, despite its shaky start, but began to crumble under bad management. |

No, not Typing of the Dead kind of stuff, although those can be fun if you want a more traditional Mavis Beacon kind of thing minus the boring. Things that needed you to converse, quickly and accurately, with others to accomplish your goals. MMOs used to be decent for it, but modern MMOs probably aren't as they now usually require neither cunning nor communication. Shooters with team modes were great, Quake Team Fortress was especially good because of the class element requiring even more specificity, accuracy and speed. |
