one time in the comics, Peter Parker loved Carol, on a date. but they can't do that in the movies cause they made Peter a kid. shame. I remember the date being funny. they also made Jessica Jones older than him, that annoys me too. in the comics, Peter and Jessica were highschool classmates and the same age. but the MCU totally messes that up

IIRC, I'm pretty sure Jessica Jones got off to the thought of Spider-Man at one point.

She actually had a crush on Peter too before he got bitten by the spider.

Brie Larson is okay, but she seems a bit too...meek for Carol.

Killing and looting is only a single spectrum of the true original fallout experience. It is as the creator, Tim Cain intended. Killing and looting is a choice. Talking, sneaking, punching, lying, intimidating, stealing is a choice that weigh as much as killing and looting.

I actually saw someone describe Bethesda's approach to Fallout perfectly.

"Bethesda didn't make a sequel to Fallout 1, they made a sequel to Fallout 1's intro video."

It's clear they only pay attention to the most surface-level details of the Fallout franchise.

Part of the appeal of the no npcs gimmick was supposed to be that thered be markets and other social structures entirely created by players.

Of course. But what I'm getting at is that for all of the people that already bought RDR2 prior to the release of Fallout 76, there wasn't really much competing with Fallout 76.

The Pokemon games were Switch exclusives while Fallout 76 is on PS4 and Xbox One so they're not in direct competition.
Battlefield V had its own controversy to deal with.

And two of the other big releases for that month were Remastered Collections, one for a game series that isn't really relevant anymore.

Red Dead released like a whole 4 weeks before 76 though.

I'd imagine most of the people that wanted it either bought it close to release or are gonna try to get it for Christmas.

Not to mention 76 went half-price for Black Friday, so that probably helped it a bit.

Also, keep in mind that Pokemon Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu are Switch exclusive titles and they're not even mainline Pokemon games, plus it's a dual-release so sales will naturally be cut in half, so of course they're going to sell less than a multiplatform, unless I'm missing something.

This isn't remotely true. You'll look at the people who say they hate the Prequels, and many of them are in their 20s and 30s.

You're making the assumption that the only people who grew up to have fond memories of the Original Trilogy are those who literally saw it in theaters and that's just not true.

All I'm saying is I remember, way back, before Disney bought out LucasFilm, a popular sentiment among the Star Wars fandom was that Lucas "ruined their childhood" and I remember there even being excitement about a Star Wars movie that wasn't made by George Lucas. The backlash was so bad that that's what made Lucas give up the Star Wars franchise in the first place.
