I guess I got used to it because it taste fine to me. Even the "premium" chocolates don't taste any better, but I rarely eat Chocolate as is.

I got a call today and apparently they caught the lady and I'm going to be going in to identify her from a lineup sometime this week. Supposedly, she's part of a huge robbery spree network in the city where I live and the police is trying to crack down on it. So yeah it looks like it's going to get sorted real soon lol.

Just report it and move on. Youtube is very slow when trying to catch bad actors. Ultimately it's their responsibility, not yours to worry about.

I agree. The way Yugioh is now is much more fun than it was in OG Yugioh. Playing the old yugioh games made me appreciate the fast pace of modern Yugioh...even though I still think it's not a well designed TCG in general.

Yeah, a lot of the "woke" talking points is that supposedly the localization changed a lot of the dialogue, this being one of those things where it wasn't present in the original Japanese dialogue.

It's a fucking 2D (or 2.5D) game, it shouldn't have problems on the Switch :(
I backed it on Switch... I think we get digital copies since the physical is delayed? But I see no email for it yet.

Really got stuck between a rock and hard place back in 2020 when the KS happened. Wanted a physical copy (PC out), didn't want to give Sony money or risk a censored copy (PS4 out, PS5 never even an option), kinda just left Switch and hoping there'd be a new Nintendo console by now. Back in 2020, seemed inevitable there would be by the time this came out. I guess I could've switched to PS4 last year, but I really didn't think Switch would be a problem, even though the company clearly never wanted to put it on Switch from the very beginning...

I had 2 friends stream the game, one on the PS5 and the other for the Switch, and the Switch version had long load times, inconsistent frame rates, and the game froze on my friend twice...something that was no present on the PS5 version. It just sounds like a case of outdated tech and/or bad port in general.

My friend is playing it on the switch from being a backer and yeah...the performance is not good on it at all. Still playable, but it looks like something i would get annoyed with pretty quickly.

I'll be honest, while I agree Modern Yugioh is a fucking mess of a game, let's not act like the game was good before then either. The fact that most TCG made now mostly take blue prints from MTG then Yugioh (except for Battle Spirit Saga...that is also not taking off) says a lot about the design of the Yugioh TCG. In fact, I'll argue, the game being as fast pace as it is now was the only direction Yugioh could've taken or else it would've absolutely died off. OG Yugioh was about getting the best monsters with the best stats to overpower your opponent while summoning monsters one and a time, which is very slow for a card game. At least Modern Yugioh does something different from any other TCG in the market and just skips all the way to the end game, effectively having end games monsters duking it out...like a Kaiju battle and just hoping your opponent doesn't have a "hand trap" to stop you from doing your "combos". I honestly think the biggest flaw design against Yugiho was not having a real "resource" system to help control the pace of the game.

Was waiting in front of the washer machine and then I saw some women opened it (while it was rinsing) and started putting some of my clothes into her basket. I was so fucking confused so I told her "Mam, is there something wrong with the machine?" and she continued putting my wet clothes into her basket. I then asked "Mam, you realize that is my clothes right?" and that moment she started to bolt with her basket. I then got in front of her and told her to put back my shit while she was screaming "Someone help me!" and "Get off of me!". It was at that moment someone tackled me to the ground and I was trying to explain myself to him while he was wrestling with me until I mentioned that she was stealing my stuff did the guy go "oh fuck!". We both went outside but by then she got into her car (with some guy as the driver) and drove off. The other guy kept on apologizing to me and said "hey man, whatever is the difference I'll pay it. I fucked up." I told him it was okay because I might've done the same thing if I was in his position (from his point of view, it was a man trying to do something innapropriate to a women). Then the owner got involved and I did a police report on it and stuff (good thing there was security cameras as well).

I think the biggest takeaway from this experience was how nonchalant she was when she stole right in front of my eyes and I kept telling myself "no one is stealing from you. It's all a misunderstanding.". Call my naive and stupid, but now I'm definately going to be more wary about someone trying to steal from me from now on if it looks really obvious.

This is exactly what happens when you strip bodily autonomy away from people and make a life threatening procedure a liability. People can call the hospitals heartless all they want, but the nurses and doctors can literally go to jail for performing procedures on high risk patients if the baby were to somehow die in the middle of it. 100% of the problem was overtuning Roe Vs Wade and implementing draconian ruling regarding this shit. If people were smart, they would be targeting the main problem, unwanted pregnancies and not the symptom of the problem.

I'm fucking emotional right now reading that article because it hits really close to home. My wife second pregnancy was also consider a "high risk procedure" and thank goodness she was able to delivery our baby boy a month ago. If I was back in my home State (Texas) that overturned Roe V Wade, there was a good chance I would've lost my son. I can only imagine the pain many of these women and their families felt because of the consequence of this crap.

It makes sense they have to state it in the manga, but in anime, where it's a visual moving medium, there's really no need to state the obvious. Jojo Bizarre Adventure anime series is really guilty of this crap.

Really? I basically gave it away when I used my example of DoA to other fighting games. Eve in Stellar Blade was designed specifically to be sexualized, but and since she's basically going to be in the game majority of the time, it makes sense why the game gets the horny reputation. Aphrodite is also hyper sexualized as well, but she's barely in the game (if the first game is anything to go by) so it makes sense that Hades wouldn't get the reputation as badly as Stellar Blade. Granted, I never said the community wasn't horny (the subreddit can get horny) but just makes sense why one games gets the reputation more than the other. I would mention the other reason, the culture war, but someone else already made that argument so I won't have to go there either.

Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat series (MK9 did get it though). Basically any fighting game that isn't an "anime" fighter or DoA. If it's any consolation, Nier Automata did get the horny reputation when it was first introduced, but it was able to outclass it for just being a really good game. I enjoyed the gameplay in Stellar Blade (from the demo I played at my friends house) so maybe Stellar Blade being a "good game" might be able to do the same as well.

It did, but Magic the Arena is there new cash cow. I dislike it for the same reason I dislike Hearthstone, they basically starve you soo much to force MTX on you to even get the cards you want to build a proper deck.

If TC was honest, they would know exactly why one games gets the the horny reputation while the other doesn't. It reminds me on the fighting game board where one user started complaining why DoA got the horny/pervy reputation while other fighting games didn't even though they also contained women wearing revealing outfits. The answer is obvious, but I doubt many people would be honest enough to answer truthfully.

This, at the end of the day most Public companies only care about pleasing the shareholders/investors. Most of this is short term gain and Zaslav is trying his best to significantly lower the expenses from overspending and only investing in safe projects that are guaranteed to earn a profit. So far, his strategy seems to be working...for now in the short term but the amount of damage he's done to the WB brand will effect the company in the long term.

Yeah that was fucking terrible. Now obviously they weren't having a serious conversation and it sounds like one of those "locker room" talks that people do with their shared genders, but to have this type of discussion like that in public was stupid. A guy doing something similar like that would be rightfully be called sexist. Not every women needs a man, but to make generalization like this does no one any favors.

It's fun to play casually with friends that don't have over powered decks that can combo you to death in one turn. The most fun I had with commander was with friends who used the base commander sets because of all the politics involved. The moment someone brings in an overpowered deck, you know you have no chance of winning except for everyone to gang up on that player.

I only use it when playing shooters, otherwise it's a controller for me.

I think Amazon was caught off guard regarding how successful this show was going to be. The marketing was kind of non-existent and Amazon released the show 2 days earlier than their initial release date because of the good word of mouth it was getting from critics. When the show started exploding, all of a sudden people started seeing it on their social media sites like youtube and twitter (x). I honestly think Amazon accidently hit a gold mine of a show, probably why they renewed season 2 so quick as well.

I blame the massive success of Stranger Things season 1 as the reason Netflix started becoming so cutthroat regarding their shows. The only other show that was able to overthrow Stranger Things in terms of viewership was Squid Games, but Stranger Things was the one show that boosted Netflix subscription like crazy.

It was inconsistent though. The mod team was much too small for how huge the website was and because of that a lot of toxic shit went unnoticed. They relied heavily on automated moderation, which was easily abusable. I miss the IMDB boards as I had a lot of amazing discussion on them, especially unpopular movies, but I recognized just how toxic most of the popular boards were. A lot of them were borderline Alex Jones level of conspiracy bullshit like Holocaust and Armenian genocide denialism.
