Not my idea, but... it needs to be $1K per adult per month, $500 per child per month, locked-in until GDP and unemployment return to some normal threshold. Otherwise, McConnell will obstruct anything and everything once Biden is in office, and this one drop in the bucket will be all the American people get.

There's a very real possibility that our economy is heading for a depression. However, there's also a chance that this will ultimately shock the system in a positive way, leading to a more human-centered form of capitalism. In other words:

Car culture = infrastructure, employment and housing patterns centered around the personal automobile as the primary form of transportation (as opposed to mass transit, walkable cities, etc). Goes hand in hand with suburban sprawl and low density zoning / city planning, among other things.

Now that you mention it... this does seem like the perfect opportunity for me to pick RDR2 back up. imo, it requires more of a consistent commitment due to how particular the controls and mechanics are.

Impossible Lair is a very good DKC / DKCR tribute with plenty of ideas of its own. Tropical Freeze is better, but they tie on music and Impossible Lair has a better overworld by far.

Impossible Lair is much better than the first Yooka-Laylee game by a clear margin for me, although it's hard to directly compare them since 2D and 3D platformers are essentially different genres. Still, if you were disappointed with the first game, don't let that stop you from giving the second a try.

I think it's very worrisome. We could end up with a completely crashed economy in addition to the virus. WAY more people could potentially die, become homeless, or displaced over this than actual Corono deaths.

We could also end up with a yearly version of this virus that culls our population at a rate 10x that of the flu, stacked on top of the flu. The potential economic impact of that ain't great either.
