| Paratroopa1 02/21/18 9:57:06 PM #9 | I have two My hopes for Spirit of Justice was that it would be a decent Ace Attorney game, but I didn't have much hope for it doing anything much more impressive than Dual Destinies - it ended up blowing past my best case scenario and wound up being awfully close to my favorite AA game ever. Breath of the Wild was kind of a zzz for me, there haven't really been any good Zelda games in a long time - I liked ALBW quite a bit, but there hasn't been another Zelda game that really captured my heart since Wind Waker. 3D Zeldas have been misses in particular for me, I just didn't like TP or SS so BotW was very much a 'wait and see' kind of thing. The fact that it was open world didn't help - I don't really like open world games, your Skyrims, etc, so I was just like eh between this being a 3D Zelda which isn't great news and being an open world game I doubt this'll be the game that changes my mind about either. It did. It totally did change my mind about both. BotW is one of the best games I've ever played. |
