Baba Yaga.

She also flies around in a mortar and pestle.

It actually looks pretty decent if you take it for what it is... I just don't get why they had to put the Fresh Prince name on it.

Because cynical nostalgia-exploiting cash-grabs make more money when you exploit an existing brand name rather than come up with something new and original.

G) Other

It is always your fault, and it remains your fault regardless of whether or not the other person also forgets.

BUT - if you ask someone to remind you, and they agree, then it is also their fault. So you're both responsible, and you both failed.

On the other hand, if you basically order someone to remind you, and they don't agree, then it's still 100% on you later when they don't bother reminding you. Because a lot of people will pull the "I told you to do it!" card when the other person never actually agrees to do the thing in question.

That's a terrible example. That just mitigates your problem, it doesn't solve it. You maybe saved your life, but you still lost your house and possessions (and possibly pets and family).

The problem you're solving there is the "not burning to death" problem. A problem you can't really solve by staying inside your house until smoke inhalation and fire give up and go away on their own because you've wowed them with sheer determination and personal initiative.

Sure, running away isn't going to solve the problem of your house and possession burning down, but staying there isn't going to solve that problem either. Unless you consider being dead a viable solution. Because if you burn to death you probably no longer care about whether or not your house and possessions are safe or not, which is technically a solution.

If the problem is a murderer or a toxic situation, it is

Or if your house is on fire.

Like adjl said, quite a few problems are solved by running away.

Someone that's really cool and you have fun with but it's a shitty worker or someone that just annoys the shit out of you but is a good worker?

Depends on whether or not I'm personally inconvenienced by the shitty worker's shittiness.

If it's a larger company, and I have no real vested interest in whether or not it succeeds or fails, there's zero reason for me to really care about whether anyone else is actually doing their job unless I'm going to be expected to pick up the slack for them. And even then, picking up a little bit of slack is fine (especially if it's for someone I actually like pretty well).

On the other hand, if I'm seriously invested in the success of the company for some reason (I own it, I own part of it, it's really hard to get jobs in the field so I can't afford to lose the job so really don't want to see the company go under, etc), or if I'm going to be doing twice the work (or more) for no extra benefit just to fix all the things the other guy is ignoring or screwing up, then I'd probably prefer the person who actually gets the job done and holds up their end over the fun guy.

Though it also depends on just how (and how much) the good worker "annoys the shit out of me". My usual reaction to someone with a terrible personality would be to just ignore them and avoid engaging with them on a personal level so we both just do our jobs, but if they're annoying in a way that I can't really ignore, or they're actively interfering with how I do my own job and causing constant frustration, it'd probably turn into a "fuck you and fuck this job" scenario pretty quickly.

I was talking more like in a group so their work has a direct effect on your work.

I was always the kid who basically did 90% of the work in group projects back in school, because my mentality was always "I don't want your ineptitude dragging me down, so just sit back and let me do this the right way". Basically, in any group scenario, I tend to step in, take over, and dictate direction, and sort of pick up the slack and fill in the gaps if other people aren't fully doing what I told them to. My own control freak tendencies worry less about the extra work because of the advantage of being able to guide and control my own fate.

Work's mostly the same (and if you're smart you can turn the extra effort into extra reward via raises or promotions if you're good at selling yourself to bosses and your coworkers aren't actively stealing credit for things you've done), so it doesn't become a huge problem unless an unviable about of work is getting dumped on you.

About the only thing I watch on TV anymore is AEW wrestling. Almost everything else I watch is pretty much exclusively YouTube videos.
