We all are. This place brings out your worst and shows you what you should be fixing. If you leave, it'll still be there. It just won't have an outlet to surface on. I been making it very transparent lately that that's exactly what Im using this place for. Im an apologizing backpedaling son of a bitch. But it's a needed step. You also have the awareness, so just add more effort to use that awareness.

That's a good argument and I will think about it, but at the end of the day I don't enjoy being here anymore which is the main reason.

It's a problem of addiction, which this literally feels like. I could do that, but it'd be tempting myself. I don't have any alts left, so I'd have to go through the process of making an account which will help.

This place is an unhealthy addiction for me. I've been here roughly 20 years, and I have a lot of memories and friends here. There are a lot of cool people here, and I've had a lot of fun. But I don't like who I am here. I repeatedly get stubborn and antagonistic, I fight with people who don't deserve it, and I am generally a toxic person. I know leaving here won't fix that, but I am objectively a worse person here than I am anywhere else, and this is my first step for recovery.

If you wanna keep in contact, feel free to hit me up, I'll wait a day or two because there are some people here I wanna stay in contact with after that I'm out, hopefully for good.

There is no denying this. There is no gray area. There is no exception. I don't care if you agree with some of his actions, I don't care if you are republican, Democrat, or just an online troll that doesn't care.

If you still support Trump and want him in power, you are the enemy and should be treated as such.

If this leads to war Trump needs to be held personally responsible for it.

If we were to get into a full on war(not likely, but possible with king dipshit at the helm) the draft could definitely become an issue. But that's only if others throw their weight behind Iran(or just against the US).

It's a really rough call there. I generally try to be as nice as possible, but I'm human and so are you. Use your best judgement, and when you get it wrong just apologize because we all do, it doesn't mean you weren't trying.

If you have the ability to do therapy, you should do that.
If not, try talking to friends or family in person about what you are dealing with. Saying things out loud to someone helps quite a bit.
Maybe join a group of some kind - especially if physical activity is involved - excersice helps me clear my head.

I've been having more good days than bad for a good while, but I had a real bad day yesterday. I was depressed enough to where it stuck with me all day, but not sad enough to cry it out or anything like that. It sucks. I thought about making a topic about it and depression, but didn't.

We're always here to talk. CE can be shit sometimes, but we got some good people too.

There's nothing like the Northwest coast and south east coast that makes their people go bonkers.

Keep in mind, outside of the Portland, Eugene, and Corvallis areas and the coastal cities, Oregon is extremely rural. We have a HUGE meth problem because tons of counties simply don't have the police forces to fight it.

I don't know the degrees of depression so I kinda don't want to say I have it because I don't want to downplay depression like people do with OCD.

But I remember in high school, I'd have these random moments, usually during lunch, where I'd just like...shut down and not really want to talk to people. Nowadays I kind of do the same, but never when I'm around others. Usually it's when I'm home alone I just get in a funk out of nowhere.

Don't worry about downplay, just don't self diagnose. You can talk about OCD or depression tendencies because everyone does have them, but a diagnosis means it's actually effecting your life, work, health, and relationships disproportionately.

Yup, that's what's frustrating. It's mostly centered around changes in the job and financial struggles, but then it pours into all other aspects. Even worse when I know the financial struggles wouldn't be so bad if I could focus on a plan and commit x.x
