The increasingly huge overlap of PC and consoles (or lack of exclusives compared to the past, if you'd rather,) makes consoles feel less impressive. That said, gaming in general is the best it's been in forever. 2017 especially has an argument for being the best year ever, and nearly all of those games are available on consoles. Could the league have complete presidential support if Vince promises every player who kneels during the national anthem will be kicked off the team? Absolutely. But considering how having the complete support of this particular President is a kiss of death, well... 2. The NFL has lots of long term problems, admittedly. They have everything to do with injuries, concussions, excessive commercials, excessive instant replays, and the experience of watching at home being so much better than seeing games in person. They have zero to do with kneeling players. I don't see how the XFL alternative league solves any of the actual problems (unless they ban instant replay, which might be a nice PR stunt but would ultimately backfire on them). All that being said, if he was smart enough to keep it limited to a short season during college/NFL downtime, small amount of teams, push online streaming, and make all the content available live or through replay on the WWE Network... | Ngamer64 12/15/17 2:12:48 AM #7 | The HP series is a huge deal on this site and internet-wide and I wanted to give it a spot in this poll, yeah, but backed off for a few reasons. - everyone who was a pre-teen/teen at the time read the books, and most also watched the movies, but I don't feel like the momentum carried over to the gaming world to the extent that it has for Marvel and DC and DBZ and the rest of the options - everyone loves the wizarding world and wishes they could have gone to Hogwarts, but Harry himself is a wet blanket that I don't think people would rally behind. It was a hard-fought affair but their duel in The Empire Strikes Back took the cake, narrowly edging the final confrontation in Return of the Jedi. The Bronze Medal was a tie between the Phantom Menace finale and Obi/Anakin in Revenge of the Sith. Everything else had some support though as well (except for Anakin dominating Dooku in Sith which didn't get a single vote). Today's Question: Will Darth Vader win the 2018 GameFAQs All-Fictional Character Battle? Hypothetical Scenario: SB sets up a 128 character 1v1 bracket for next Summer that's a callback to 2006.
