There aren't any ads if you pay 12 dollars a month, which is a very competitive price for a streaming service.

It's 8 dollars a month if you don't care about a few ads.

I'm usually doing other things when it's on so an occasional 30 - 90 seconds to go somewhere away from the tv and get something done isn't a big deal. There's even a handy countdown. But I understand that some people are sitting on ass for hours on end just watching and doing nothing else, so I would recommend those people fork over the extra four bucks.

2012 was a pretty big dip. So was 2014.

I don't think it's tied to election years, and it doesn't seem like there are necessarily spikes in response to high profile shootings.

They have a strange membership payment strategy. People can pay yearly or pay a bunch for a lifetime membership. It might have more to do with years that people switch over to lifetime and don't pay again.

Oddly enough, not really.

I was curious about previous years, and sure enough there are always news articles whenever their revenue dips.

It's not like it was previously at 2016 levels and has now fallen out of favor or anything. Certain years it just seems to get a boost. Unsurprisingly, 2016 was one of those years.

It's rather unnecessary. Those beauty marks upon which they are based don't make the person better looking, it's just that they are good looking despite them. Cindy Crawford and Marilyn Monroe would have looked better without them.

Although, as far as facial piercings go, they're one of the better ones. That isn't saying much though. Girls get facial piercings either because they are grossly misinformed or they're trying to take the attention off of their otherwise unappealing appearance.

My advice would be to go on expeditions. Just explore the map and collect resources. Get used to the controls, how to use different slinger ammo and traps. But especially to learn the map. Start figuring out a decent loadout for hunts and start crafting those things.

Such a gorgeous game.

For what it's worth, I did dual blades and solo'd for as long as I was interested in playing, which was about 100 hours and into the early high rank. I'm a beginner at best, but I got plenty of fun out of it.

But it is definitely more fun with friends. For 15 bucks, maybe grab a second copy for someone.

I really liked Redemption also. It really gets forgotten in the shadow of Bloodlines. I got about 3/4 of the way through bloodlines I think.

I'm probably going to pick it up again and see what the mod community has done. It really bothered me how much the disciplines got watered down, but I recognize most people aren't really into the tabletop game like I am.

Will the word 'minority' have to take on a different meaning once white people are also a 'minority'? Because currently, when referencing 'minority' in regards to race, it doesn't include white people.

So a lot of scholarship wording, news article wording, research wording, etc. would presumably have to be changed unless everyone will be considered a 'minority'.

I guess they'll have to change the definition of racism again.
