I like the realympics because it has boxing and gymnastics and don't care about the snowlympics at all.

What the city used to be like back when I was in high school and used to spend a lot of time there. I remember when Time Square was filled with hookers, drug dealers, sex shows, and porn shops. And how Brooklyn and Queens where before they got gentrified. It's very different now, safer for sure, but now how it was back in the day.

But I move away from there a dozen years ago and would never live around that city again. I still go back to visit friends and family but have no interest in that metro area as a place to live in anymore. Super high cost of living, crappy weather, high stress level and weed is not legal? No thanks.

I'd still like to see 17 win so that he can get that boat.

Everybody rightfully has their own opinions on this series. My personal top three GTAs are San Andreas, Saints Row 2, and Saints Row 3.

I was 12 when I started working for money doing season stuff like mowing lawns, raking leaves, shoveling snow, painting, etc.

At 15 I started working for paychecks.

Try Steamworld Dig 1+2.

They are not long or story heavy games but are quite fun to play. The first one was fun and the second was and even better and one of my favorite games of last year.

That would be pretty cool with the NCR and Legion factions, but I'm not sure how well you would do smaller factions like the Brotherhood, Great Khans or Mr House. Make the Enclave an emergent faction?

But I would be down for the game and would take over the whole wasteland as the Powder Gangers for the challenge and lulz.

Because I already beat it when it came out and don't have any interest in the expansion.

People need to get over The Peoples' Champion for now as he said that he is locked up in contracts and wouldn't be running until the 2024 election. That one won't start up for another five years so there's absolutely no way to know how the political winds will be blowing then and therefore no way to know now which party he would run with.

I would and probably have before unknowingly, but wouldn't choose it over other meats if I have options since carnivore meat probably isn't as good.

Hahahaha, no. He's less eloquent than Obama and too many progressive black folks saw through him back when he was starting up in Newark. He was backed by right wing money when he started and so any semi-serious look into his background would get him torn apart in the Democratic primaries. I don't see the DNC backing him.

The Dems best chance is still currently Michelle Obama, but she is not interested having just got $60 million for that book deal and her privacy back. She is loved by many, gives good speeches, and understands the true role of the presidency and how the game is played. But again she is not interested so the dems are looking into their other options.

Of course the 2020 election doesn't start up for another year so it's way too early to know how the political winds will blow and anything any of us have to say about it now is just pure speculation.

I don't have a television in my apartment because I use a projector, but I'm sure that the majority of the people in this nation have at least one television. And they watch shows on it, so whether that's through cable, digital antenna, or streaming they're still watching shows on television.

What about you TC do you only watch shows on your phone, tablet, or computer or do also watch them on a television?

That's a pretty clear sign that it's time to get a new job.

Cops should be more reluctant to hassle people for petty offenses.

Part of their job is to make money for their department and local government. Citations and asset forfeiture bring in money, and many petty offenses can be less dangerous and nearly as profitable as going after dangerous stuff.

Some people definitely would, but I'm not sure what percentage of the folks here are very good at socializing with other people irl.

That's a part if it for some yeah, but it's largely because they are trained to be afraid of everybody. Which is kinda crazy since their job is not even in the top ten most dangerous in the nation.

Also the job attracts some percentage of people who, for many reasons personal and cultural, wish to impose their will on others and enforce rules on others.

I understand plenty of the reasons why they are trained this way, and people with authority killing civilians has always been a part of our culture but it does go against the notion we hold of the rule of law. The story we are told is that a person is supposed to be arrested, charged with crimes, and tried in court.

When an officer appoints himself Judge Dredd it makes a mockery of one of our cultural stories that we as a nation tell ourselves.

Sucks for him hopefully they can reconcile since she has a decent chance of being a good earner like her sister.

Otherwise it's gonna cost him a lot since she is a 2nd generation gold digger.

This is America and it takes a big shooting, or very slow news day, for a small disturbance to make national news. I don't think that a CO shooting has made the news since last Thanksgiving when that guy shot a bunch of people at Planned Parenthood down in the Springs.

Last time I looked for player counts, Reddit had threads saying it was a ghost town and basically an online single player game. That was in early 2017 but I doubt its gotten much better since.

It's still making some money otherwise they would have pulled the plug on it already. **** EA for TOR, since if it wasn't for that game we could have had a good KOTOR 3 years seven years ago with some big dlcs and a good Mass Effect Andromeda two or three years ago with Andromeda 2 being one of the highly anticipated games of 2018.

Nine years now they have had one of Bioware's studios working on TOR since 2008 when they spent over $200 million chasing that WOW subscription money, just like what they are doing now with Anthem to chase that Destiny money. They won't shut it down until it's not making any money at all.

Again business is business and EA is all about chasing trends and trying to maximize their profits off of us. There are dozens of reasons to hate on them and TOR is one of my top reasons.

Couldn't care less about meeting anybody from here irl, but I would love to have a list of all the alts so we could all know whose is whose. Sometimes I wonder if it's only 30-40 other humans in total here with a few hundred alts.

What up TC you not liking what EA is doing with the exclusive SW license that they paid Disney a lot of money for =/= they don't know what they are doing.

I don't know what is in the contract that they agreed upon for the ten year exclusivity on SW games but I can take some guesses. I figure that some of the stipulations were a lot of money up front and a decent cut of the profits off of every game made with the SW license. It's a popular franchise and with the yearly movies will always have hype from Disney marketing too.

EA knows this and is trying to maximize the profits per game, as shown with the launch of Battlefront 2 and cancelling of the sp game that wasn't going to have mtx in it. Battlefront 2015 sold 14 million copies because it was the only SW game when episode 7 came out. The player base dropped quickly because there wasn't a lot of content in it, but it wasn't a financial failure. Battlefront 2 was designed to keep people playing and paying for another two years but it blew up in their face because they got too greedy too quickly, and it will be interesting to see what the player base looks like six months from now.

It's not that they don't know what they are doing, it's that they want to maximize the money they make off of us. Business is business, and most of us gamers don't pay much attention to the business side of the industry.

Make some kind of goal for you to work towards. It doesn't have to be a strict goal but make up something to aim for to keep it interesting for yourself.

I don't know CK2 because I tried it and bounced off if it but EU4 is my most played game ever and they probably have many mechanics in common. You need a cause belli to declare war on somebody, too much aggressive expansion in an area will turn everybody against you so spread out wars in different areas and/or different religious groups to minimize it when possible, learn how trade works, institutions and technologies, and a million other mechanics.

It's a crazy learning curve but when it starts clicking it's awesome. Some good streamers to check out some let's plays from are Aruba, Quil18, and the god DDRJake.

Two of the best countries to start with are Ottomans and Portugal. Ottomans gives you a strong start with many different directions to expand and lots of potential allies due to your strength. Cycling between expansion into Europe, Africa, and Asia can keep your aggressive expansion down in any one area. Have they biggest and most powerful army in the world with the largest land empire.

Portugal gives you a great way to learn colonization as you can stay cool with Castile and focus on expanding into West Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Trade will make you very rich when it gets rolling and colonial nations will send you money once they get big enough. Have the largest navy in the world and a trade empire greater than any with money flowing in from the old and new worlds.

Onion dip is hella good on toast when you want a savory spread, butter and jam for sweet.

What about people who would be good parents but have a high likelihood for genetic defects in their offspring?

This stuff isn't new as eugenics was very popular in this country a century ago. It went out of style after WW2 because the Nazis had put it into effect on a large scale and people that were into it saw that their ideas did ultimately lead to genocide.

Maybe where you live but not around me. I've definitely seen pregnant ladies drinking before, but have seen many more men that appear to be carrying twins or triplets drinking heavily.

How would you test them?

Would they have to take care of a tester baby for a few months and then a tester toddler for a few months?

Where would you get the children from and how would you make the process legal?

That is a very Christian and Muslim way of looking at things. So the fact that all the main characters of the 'old' testament as well as Jesus are Jewish is just coincidental?

The purpose of Jesus was a final revelation to mankind, which keeps degenerating physically and spiritually the longer we go on.

TC wasn't talking about those Jews, he was talking about their god who was later claimed by the Christians and Muslims.
