| NBIceman 02/23/21 5:04:01 PM #325 | I always laugh a little when folks talk about how much they enjoy that Cap and Widow were never pushed as romantic partners at all, because up until Endgame's ending I was always very disappointed by that. I absolutely love the chemistry they have in Winter Soldier and I'm quite sure the Russos were definitely teasing it at points in the movie as something that could be pursued in the future. What we got was a million times better, but in a different universe where the end of the Infinity Saga doesn't include time travel, I do think it would've made for an interesting relationship for both of their characters. Anyway, my predictions throughout this ranking have been a little dodgy, but at least I had the top two pegged from the beginning. In fact, I almost feel like thats the only appropriate way to see Endgame.Yep. I saw it multiple times in theaters (I'll keep the exact number to myself for the sake of my pride) and haven't watched it since. Good chance I never do again unless they do a special event where they bring it back to the big screen for a weekend or something. Only other exception would be with, like, an SO that had never seen it before or if I have kids to watch it with someday. It really feels like it'd cheapen the experience somehow, strange as it sounds. And that's coming from someone who actually likes the movie a lot, as evidenced by the fact that I have nothing lower than my #8 left to drop. I'm also surprised at how many people have such little MCU representation in their top 5 superhero movies. I think my own would consist of my top 4 from this ranking with Logan in there somewhere, although Dark Knight definitely comes close and there's probably days it would be included.
