My TE led the team in catches and was 95 yards short of leading the team in yards too. >_< I mean, WR were in and out of the lineup all year due to injury but still...that's rough. Poor Schmidt gave up a sack and couldn't even manage a block before going down. The psychological effect of seeing his college teammate go down must have been quite the distraction for Freeman as that's why he had a bad year. Had nothing to do with having no WRs and OLine at all, nope.

The Harris/Cushing combo didn't net as many tackles as the Harris/Urlacher combo but they both hit double digit sacks with Harris nearly tripling his total from last year. Actually, Aldon Smith was my only LB who didn't hit double digit sacks so that's cool. FF total went up while INTs were slightly down. Not so much that I'd think it'd affect the games too much but seems like they did so I'm not complaining!

Yeah that's fair. I definitely got what I wanted out of Lynch and Cushing this year so certainly not complaining. I'll be curious to see my defensive players' ratings come the offseason given they didn't actually suck this year.

Oh wow, I felt like David Harris had a relatively quiet season but nice to see him up for the linebacker award!

And I also got Cushing in that trade with Sultan (via the Dolphins but still) and I would have been sorely lacking at my second MLB spot without that trade so I consider that a win.

I guess I should vote huh? Uh...

Sorry, too busy laughing at the Raiders to do anything else today. And just by happenstance I close out the season against them here. How fun!

Madden hates me so I would not be surprised if the game went "fuck you" and put the Colts in the playoffs instead of me despite having the better conference and divisional record and sweeping the Colts. It would truly cement Madden's hate for the Titans.

I expected this. I was hoping Lynch would have at least increased in rating by season's end but wasn't expecting anyone else on offense to increase at all. Which is fine, I sold a lot of offensive "firepower" to get higher rated defensive players which seems to be working out so hey!

About the only thing I care about right now is that the Steelers blew that game against the Jags as I need to win next week to really have a shot at the division. If the Jags sweep me, it's gonna be pretty hard to make up 2 games with only 3 left to play. But otherwise, I don't really care that I just lost two linemen to season ending injuries and I don't really care that everything is probably going to come crashing down at any moment, or that I'll probably suffer another season ending injury in the next couple weeks as that seems to be a theme for this team this year. Nope, don't really care about all that. Why you ask?

Because the monkey is finally fucking off my back! THE TENNESSEE TITANS HAVE A WINNING RECORD!!! How this team managed to do it without any WRs of note and against this schedule I have no idea. I can't even claim that it was the NFC East being completely mediocre this year as I've only played two games against them and I'm 1-1 in those games. Offense is shit, Defense is middle of the pack rank wise, but we're still winning games. There are now no teams in the league that haven't achieved a winning record. Aw. Yes.

Whatever else that happens this season doesn't matter. Gonna hope the good times keep rolling but I've already accomplished my main goal this year. Anything else would just be icing on the cake at this point. Whew.
