Ah nothing you can do about that then. Honestly Gordon/Hunt/Cohen is basically set them and forget about it so I don't blame him.

Haha funny you should say that. I just offered a trade to a guy who has Ryan and Mahomes and I offered him Cook in the deal. Some people think he's gonna be in a timeshare when he gets back but I don't know about that. I just have too many options at RB and he's expendable to me. He has a pretty decent schedule coming up but yeah, there's uncertainty there.

As a Bears fan, I think there's been a consistent effort to get Cohen involved in the game. I also believe that Howard has been slowly losing snaps to Cohen and it's more of a 50/50 split at the moment. That said, I'd definitely try for Hunt/Gordon. Gordon is injured and I heard he might miss this week as well so you might be able to get him cheaper than you think.

Evans has Fitzpatrick back so he might start taking off again. I'd probably try and unload Funchess and/or Tate for Cohen. Evans/Boyd maybe for Gordon? I dunno on that one.

I wouldn't outright reject that trade in regular leagues. In dynasty? That feels like highway robbery. McCoy is a 30 year old running back on a bad team and you have the opportunity to ship him off for a much younger player on good offensive team? Unless there's something I'm missing, I'd take that in a heartbeat.

I'm only up by like 10 points and my opponent has Thielen, Ingram, and New England still to play. This is a slow and agonizing death especially given I could have played just about anyone else in the Flex and possibly have been fine.

Someone in my main league left Julio, Coleman, and Hooper in their lineup. They left in Garcon too for good measure. He has 14 points and has a 45% chance of winning his matchup.

And yes, his opponent has a full roster of players going.

What do you think about

Conner/Collins/John Brown

for

Martin/Thompson/Evans

I mean I'd never do this trade but if he's that low on Connor sure why not.

Hopkins/Miller doing work for my teams this week. Should have started Watson though. Can Trubisky put up another 30 point performance and match Watson? Hmm.

Yeah.

With Michel injured I have to play either Carson or Miller. Leaning Miller as I don't completely trust the Seattle backfield coming off their bye. Or I could just start both and have Geronimo Allison on my bench. *shrug*

Ah shit. Week 10 was already going to be rough with John Brown and a bunch of Texans on bye but Michel's injury is gonna hurt even more. Now I've gotta roll with Chris Carson against the Rams and two Cardinals WRs at WR and in the Flex unless moves are made. Yeesh.

And I'm anticipating Michel being out through the Patriots Bye even though the news is that his injury isn't serious. He's not playing next week definitely (another bummer since I'm playing one of the better teams in the league and the Pats play the Bills). And if he misses Week 9 too, I think they just hold him out Week 10 as well given his history of knee problems to give him another 2 weeks of recovery.

At least in my work league I picked up Chubb and Richard (full point PPR gives him a really solid floor). *shrug*

Same thing happened in my main league. Person dropped Chubb yesterday for a defense. Put in a claim but I'm 11/12 so no way I'm getting him. Got him in my work league I guess. Cut bait on Cook in that league since I'm never going to play him after all these setbacks and it's a 10 team league so I don't feel like he's worth holding onto.

Apparently I can't add a player I dropped until waiver period ends. What kind of bullshit is this? I dropped Chubb because I needed bye week fill ins (one at RB no less) and the Browns go and trade Hyde to make Chubb their lead back. This is stupid.

Hurricanes 4-0-1 to start off, I wonder how long it's been since they've had that good of a start?

Funny story. During my draft, I was browsing through players during my pick and I started running out of time. I couldn't scroll back to the guy that I wanted in time so I got autodrafted Sebastian Aho who has been amazing so far. This led me to drafting Andrei Svechnikov whose ATOI has been pretty bad but he's producing in other categories. Also ended up with Dougie Hamilton so I ended up going pretty hard on the Hurricanes during the draft mostly due to an autodraft pick and it's been working!

So after that 2nd Michel TD I thought that I was going to cruise to another 3-0 week. In a shocking twist in my main league I not only won the Michel/White battle but instead of it being a 2nd highest score losing to the best score of the week, it was a 2nd lowest score (me) beating the lowest score of the week. Lucky me!

Work league I'm up 47 while he still has Jamaal Williams, Jimmy Graham, and that 49ers fullback. Feeling pretty okay about that one.

But what the hell happened with Gostkowski? Thought I was going to win my B8 league matchup but that dude went insane. Unless Breida and Kittle don't end up playing tomorrow night, I really doubt my 4 point lead is going to hold. All because I started the Bears D instead of the Ravens D. Hometown team letting me down twice today. =/

Half PPR. They basically scored the same amount last week but White has been generally better so I'm not liking my chances. =/

Just traded for Bell in the other B8 league. Also got Kelce and Bears D in the deal so I'm pleased.

Figured I'd try and see if I could get Bell in my work league too since that owner is struggling as well. Turns out he dropped him...like what. Put in a claim immediately but I'm 9/10 so unless people missed that transaction I doubt I'll get him.

So just a reminder to check your leagues and see if you can get Bell for cheap if the Bell owner is desperate for a win!

TEN has actually been a pretty good fantasy defense this year. They also played the Bills this week so I can understand that.

I've got two defenses in my work league myself. I drafted the Lions but the Rams were dropped before Week 1 and I jumped all over that. Bears were also dropped at some point so I'm rolling with a Rams/Bears combo right now. Even if I don't play the Rams ever again, I'll probably hold onto them just so no one else in my league can get them lol

Ryan literally was the highest scoring offense this year (before last week)

Right. The only thing stopping me from playing him this week is that he just got an x-ray on his foot and he won't be at 100%. And him not being at 100% makes me afraid that Calvin Ridley won't get the ball as much. If Luck wasn't playing a bum team like the Jets, I'd probably end up risking it though.

I've also heard that Winston doesn't give the ball to Desean Jackson either, which also worries me.

I don't think I'll be giving Davis a shot this week either because the Ravens D will probably lock him down hard.

And @MysteriousStan, I looked over my options for getting Ebron to somebody, but I don't see any appealing trade options for people who would need a decent TE like him.

Oh yeah, you have Ravens D. I don't like starting players against my own defense so changing my mind on Davis. Go with Ridley. That Bucs secondary is god awful. Ridley has another blown up potentially regardless of whether Ryan plays or not.

Hm. That's too bad. I guess you could try trading him to someone who doesn't necessarily need a TE. Or wait till the Byes start coming in and find someone desperate for TE.

Speaking of work leagues, my coworker and I were kind of joking with another coworker before the draft. It's her first time playing fantasy and she's a huge Vikings fan and more specifically a giant Thielen fan. So we were joking that she'd draft him in the first round and while she didn't do that she did get him in the 2nd I think. Turns out that wouldn't have been a terrible pick based on his production so far!

Reg, even if no one trades in your league I'd still try and trade Connor and see if anyone bites. With Bell coming back there's no telling what's going to happen to Connor's value going forward. Could be a timeshare, Bell could become the lead back outright or he could end up traded (I doubt this one but eh). Otherwise...Baldwin only getting one target is crazy (luckily it didn't burn me in the one league I have him and started him). I don't think that's going to continue but you might be able to get away with dropping him as I dunno if anyone's going to pick him up after that performance leaving him on waivers to play this week and having the bye next week. So you could conceivably be able to drop him and then pick him up again during his bye if you want too.

Biscuit, I'd go Luck and then Corey Davis at WR, especially if it's PPR. He's led his team in targets just about every week so he's pretty much the only one getting consistent looks in that offense. It's just a mediocre offense. I still feel like Lockett is a risky play but he's been killing it so far so he's not a bad pickup. I'd also consider trading Ebron for WR/RB. Burton may not be as consistent as Ebron has been but he's still getting looks and is a redzone threat too. The absolute wasteland that is the TE position this year means having two quality TE's is pretty valuable imo. The fact that Ebron blew up last week and that Burton already had his bye means that if you could get something good for Ebron, I'd do it and plug in Burton for the rest of the season. There's also no telling how the targets are going to shake out when Doyle gets back.

Yeah someone dropped Bishop in my league so I put a claim in to get him and ended up succeeding. So I switched him in for Raanta and all was good...until later I checked and he was mysteriously absent from my lineup and I couldn't put Raanta back in as it was giving me an error. So I lost out on a shut out. It's not just our league but lots of people are getting fucked. Everyone who drafted Monday and Tuesday had their entire leagues autodrafted. And that's just some of the stuff that's been going on with ESPN.

I don't mind ESPN for hockey but I definitely prefer Yahoo for football. But this has been so fucked that our LM is thinking of moving is over to Yahoo. Think the only thing preventing it at this point is that he can't manually enter the first week's scores if we switch over.
