I was ignorant to assume that we would come together again and do the right thing, but instead are one of the worst nations on the planet for cases and people refusing to make any kind of effort to end this. So no, I didnt anticipate this lasting this long and half our nation would act like children about it, including our leaders.Well, 9/11 was basically impossible to ignore. The two tallest buildings in the world having freaking planes crash into them, instantly ending thousands of lives and devastating several blocks. Covid is just as silent as any other virus. As for the topic, yes, I did anticipate it going on this long. I've learned never to underestimate human stupidity; to always expect the worst, stupidest outcome. Sinking City doesn't give you a shotgun until the conclusion of the third main story case, but it's entirely possible to come across an abandoned smuggler house, which has several guns just sitting out that you just don't take for whatever reason. No one is around to raise a stink about taking it, and with the city being a miserable, flooded garbage heap, no one will really give a shit about you having a shotgun. Modders have been fixing the trilogy's screwups real good. Also, Take-two is now going after GTAIV mods, so now people are wondering if a "remaster" of IV is on its way. With the trilogy just being upscaled mobile versions and IV not having a mobile version, I wonder what new lazy method they'll use to crap on it. There's also a rumor that a Red Dead Redemption 1 remaster could be in the future, and oh lordy, if they take a dump on one of my top five... There's some memes where people wonder what the IV remaster would look like. The removal of distance fog means that getting somewhere high or using an aircraft lets you see the entire map, plus the low-poly versions of distant buildings. It's especially noticeable in SA, since it has mountains you can stand still on and use the camera or sniper rifle to zoom in on distant things. Tattoos in SA float off of CJ's model. Somehow, the textures for a cliffside in VC got replaced with the textures for a person's face. The rain doesn't just look bad, it also makes driving at night damn near impossible. It also behaves weirdly if you're in a helicopter and you try to ascend or descend. It'll like, freeze and start slowly moving up. Somehow, someone in VC wound up with a shrunken Tommy. Getting CJ to maximum fatness results in a gap between his gut and waist. People found an article from early this year where Take-two's CEO criticized the sloppy state of Cyberpunk's launch, basically saying "We'd never do that; we actually put in effort. We don't just make simple ports, we touch it up by hand." Which doesn't hold up well since it appears much of the Definitive trilogy was just AI upscaled. And because of all this, the Metacritic user score is 0.9, so it's almost up there with other "greats" like Warcraft III Reforged and all the recent big sports titles. Coincidentally, Reforged also botched up the remake of a classic while making it impossible to play the original anymore.
