Hardspace: Shipbreaker is one of my favorite chill-out games. It's about systematically dismantling abandoned spaceships and putting the right parts in the right receptacle. Only flaw is that there's unskippable sections where some character blabs away about "corporations bad" and you can't do anything productive, even check your email. Thankfully, there's also a free-play section that's just about the dismantling.

Terminator: Resistance and Robocop: Rogue City are both prime examples of how licenced games should be done. They're both competent shooters with immersive sim elements, both are very heavily based on/around the most beloved entries in their series, and you can tell how much love the devs have for them. I genuinely can't wait for whatever the devs have planned next. The only big 80s properties I can think of them doing next is either Alien or Predator.

I didn't like GTAV since I'm not an online player, and the story campaign had almost no missions that gave rewards or perks for some inexplicable reason. Also, tying one of the stock markets to an online connection was stupid, since 3 out of 5 story mode assassination missions affected stocks there.

Yeah, if they put it in, they obviously wanted you to use it. I also like when the enemy has some useful device or item, and you can either destroy it to immediately beat the mission, or do some extra work to take it for yourself.

I like watching when it's a skilled person playing the hardest difficulty in a very efficient way. Of course, the game has to be entertaining to watch, too. Getting into multiple fights with tanky enemies might be entertaining to play, but definitely not to watch. And because stealth games tend to discourage combat, they're the best to watch.

I actually would like a remake of Sunshine. Give Mario a more expansive moveset that doesn't rely on FLUDD, add a blue coin tracker, overhaul/remove the Corona mudboat section, revamp the toxic river secret level (and the journey to get there) and you're good to go.

Anyone thinking of starting a new farm: The riverlands farm now comes with a free fish smoker, which doubles the value of any fish, and quality levels are taken into account. Otherwise, you have to jump through a couple hoops to get one.

The meadowlands farm also comes with a coop and two chickens, and with how easy it is to unlock and build mayonnaise makers, you can get a good operation going early.

Is that like when Metal Gear Survive charged $10 of premium currency for save slots?

My idea to excuse the tribal enemies in the remake: See them performing in the playable intro before shit hits the fan and have Sheva mention it's for a festival they do. As for the straw huts existence, have her say that it's a historical preservation site. I have no idea if those kinds of historical preservations exist, but if we can have biological horrors, we can have preserved huts.

Also, have a run-in with an uninfected performer who's hiding out, showing that they're normal, civilized people when off the clock.

I really hope the final boss is some huge fuck-off truck that can smash through almost anything.

They've gotta be. My mom used to watch Real Housewives of Orange County, and if I argued with my friends even 1/50th as much as they do, I'd just stop being friends with them.

I've never played Cyberpunk, but considering that cyber implants are at a point where you can barely tell someone has them, Robocop would have the floor wiped with him. In fact, they probably would put his parts in some floor cleaner robot.

Not sure when it opens. But the town hit spring/bath will restore your energy for free if you stop moving. Very useful for early game before youve unlocked some good recipes

The time it takes to actually make it to the bath isn't worth it. You have have to go through the locker room, are forced to walk when you're in your swimsuit, then you have to wait for your energy to recharge, walk back to the locker room, and can finally run or use teleport items when you're in your clothes again. I think just saving the salmonberries that show up in spring is a better early game energy restoration. Plus, searching trash cans can get you food items with great restoration (don't worry about getting caught; friendship isn't important in the early game).

Odd, never picture Liam to be a good fit for comedy

What made Leslie Nielsen work so well for Airplane was his complete lack of comedy acting prior. This let him remain stone-faced even as absurd things happened around him, adding to the hilarity. While Liam does have some comedy under his belt, he's still known for serious roles, making him the best choice for a Naked Gun revival.

This isn't gonna work. If you had a dollar for every joke from the originals that couldn't be made today, you'd be filthy rich.

For the amount of content it has, and yet another big free update on the way, it's well worth the $15. Certainly a lot more bang for your buck than other big name farming games.

The regular farm has lots of open space for you to do whatever you want with, hilltop has a nice aesthetic and a mini-quarry, forest has respawning hardwood stumps and forage spawns, and four corners is good for multiplayer or separating your different operations.

1.6 will add another farm type, but no details have been released.

Everyone should get Stardew Valley. The updates all have enough content to qualify as full-on expansions, but they're all free. They typically implement things fans have requested.

One crucial tip for beginners: Only upgrade your watering can when the weather channel predicts rain, since it takes all of that day and the next for it to be upgraded. Also wouldn't recommend the beach farm for beginners. It's mostly sand, which sprinklers don't work on, and the dirt patch has rocks and logs that need axe and pickaxe upgrades to break.

Not ashamed to admit that Chel gave me a thing for girls in loincloths. Took a good few years for that seed to grow, since I was a kid when it came out, but when I remembered, it all made sense. And my thing for loincloths branched out into cocktail dresses with high leg slits. I may not have seen El Dorado until I was in my mid-20s, but it still shaped part of me.

Wonderlands was good for a playthrough, but the endgame sucked. Making it roguelite was a good idea, but that's basically all it is. When they upped the chaos level to 100, I just dipped.

Bioshock 1, 2, and Minerva's Den.

3 might have a bad story (in the main campaign), but it has great build diversity and gunplay. It also lets you toggle any of its seasonal events at will, which is something I wish more games would do. Not just because those limited-time rewards aren't limited anymore, but it also means the work the devs put in for those items/maps doesn't go to waste. Zane and Moze are my favorite playable characters.

My friend showed me Desert Punk, Galaxy Angel, and Soul Eater back in the early 2010s, and I thought they were good.

Assassins Creed: Revelations

Definitely the worst of the Ezio trilogy. I didn't like that it went back to the drab city from the first game, now with an orange, smoggy filter over it. Only thing I remember is a mission where you beat up minstrels to steal their outfits. And some underground city you set on fire, which is where I took a months-long break, since I was burnt out from playing the previous two immediately beforehand.

I also thought it was unnecessary. By this point, Ezio had accomplished his two biggest goals: Avenging his family and restoring the assassin brotherhood, and he had become extremely wealthy along the way. At that point, it's time to retire.
