If this has to happen, hopefully they keep someone in reserve to take over if the AI just can't figure it out. Wonder how well it can understand other languages. It'd actually be pretty neat if there were a bunch programmed in and possibly overcome a language barrier.

On their website the metal bracelet is adding another 100 dollars to the price, though honestly I'm debating doing that. That way I can just buy a leather strap later and have both. And I'm not really a fan of the day/date version, if we're talking about the same one where the day/date is displayed at 12 o'clock.

Regular.

What's even the difference anyway?

Higher octane gas resists pre ignition, or knocking. So if a car says to use a higher octane than regular, it's a good idea for the engine's health to do so.

Conversely, putting a higher octane than recommended offers little if any benefit, besides maybe more detergents.

Regulated them myself. The machine is 150 bucks on Amazon. And it's pretty simple to adjust them, but you have to have a steady hand since the regulating pins are right above the balance spring on these movements. But basically all I do is set the time, wear it the whole day, then the next day around the same hour I set it I'll see how fast or slow it was and adjust accordingly using the timegrapher. You can do it without the machine but it might take you several days since the tiniest adjustments can throw you way off.

Yeah, I have a timegrapher that lets me see the accuracy. None of mine were that bad, think the worst one was only about 20 seconds fast per day before I regulated it.

I'd say Rolex/Casio for people not into watches, and Seiko/Casio for people into watches. Seiko is IMO a good place to start for mechanical pieces, to feel out what you like/how deep you want to dive into the world for not too much cash. The majority of my mechanical pieces are Seiko, or have Seiko movements inside, and are acting as the springboard towards regulating, servicing, and potentially building and modding my own.

Glock 19 acquired, pictured with one of the unfortunate 10 round mags it was forced to be sold with.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/9/90f89ce1.jpg
This photo taken by my trusty potato shows the upgraded sights. Big yellow dot up front which you line up with the U-notch in the back. The pistol I rented had these and immediately liked how easy it was to line up when shooting, so I snagged a set for mine.

Overall I'm pretty happy. The full-sized Glock17 I have would be too cumbersome to carry, and the 43x I had was just too small.

Next step is getting some non-restricted magazines. Which is hopefully soon, as there's rumor a judge will put an injunction on the mag ban as early as tomorrow.

In all fairness .22 is already pretty moody when it comes to reliability. Best thing to do is buy containers with sealing lids and toss desiccant packets in with the ammo.

Good stuff. I recently traded my 43x for a 19, just have to wait until the 28th to pick it up. Had the shop order me in a holster and install some better sights as well. The 43x was nice but getting two hands on such a small grip wasn't panning out. I have a 17 but I don't like carrying full sized guns, let alone a full sized pistol with a light as well. Too big and heavy for practical concealment.
