Used guns are a better value, but you need to know guns or trust the seller if you go that route. I had to clean a USP with carburetor cleaner after getting it from a pawn shop because neither the shop or previous owner ever cleaned it properly. But most brand parts are very cheap and easy to change out, so well used is rarely an issue with firearms.
is used usually much much cheaper though? yeah prob much better condition than a used watch, rolex.

went to the range today and shot a 556 and my glock. Rifles are cool but unnecessary for sure.

Bought a red dot sight and underbarrel flashlight for home defense from amazon, should be fun
you say they are unnecessary , you would want them banned? Are glocks your favorite gun brand? heard they are really ugly but might be the best.

i don't think they need to be banned, i just don't see myself really owning any of the big name ones, I'm fine with my self defense weapon.

I have disassembled my glock to install the optic when it comes in tomorrow, and to swap the magazine release from the left side to the right side and that was probably one of the most stressful things i've ever done lol

nah https://sightmark.com/blogs/news/states-ranked-by-how-strict-their-gun-laws-are

cali has the most strict laws.

got a flashlight/laser combo, thought it wouldn't fit my gun so was set to return it, then i saw a YT vid that made me wanna try something and now i have installed it. Couldn't get the pin to come out for the magazine catch so i gave up on making the gun left handed friendly, and i had to buy a new mounting plate because the sight i bought uses a different style plate and my gun only came with a No 2. plate. Ugh. Gonna zero it at the range tuesday with my girlfriend and i'll have my home defense gun all set up

My only complaint with Sig is they've failed a LOT of drop test and had discharges, but they look good. Before I got my P2000 I was looking for a USP 9mm Compact, but they were super hard to find.

are you into watches at all ? you are like really into guns right? i like watches instead maybe most i'd spend is like 500 for a watch right now. But you prob spend loads more than that on a single gun, you prob have to to get a decent gun. A new good ar 15 style rifle is like 2k at least right, still much less than great expensive watches, rolex

Good stuff. I recently traded my 43x for a 19, just have to wait until the 28th to pick it up. Had the shop order me in a holster and install some better sights as well. The 43x was nice but getting two hands on such a small grip wasn't panning out. I have a 17 but I don't like carrying full sized guns, let alone a full sized pistol with a light as well. Too big and heavy for practical concealment.

I passed the conceal carry training. All 4 of my references submitted the questionnaire yesterday, i paid $76 to the state, and have to pay another $150 to my local PD

not too shabby though, many people take months of shooting to get comfortable and on my 4th time shooting i pass with flying colors, only missed one shot that was just a little bit to the right of the head, otherwise i was a deadshot and landed shots. Head, neck, chest area, spots that would pretty much immediately down an attacker

In all fairness .22 is already pretty moody when it comes to reliability. Best thing to do is buy containers with sealing lids and toss desiccant packets in with the ammo.
