Or start over as in there's some ammo depletion permadeath mechanic? You run out of ammo and the game just ends... Thinking you mean the former, but the way you worded it I want to he sure. If it's the former, this can happen in all sorts of games. Silent Hill. Resident Evil. Most of them you have the option to run away and when you're forced into a fight, like at a boss or whatever, they're designed to increase ammo and loot prior to the encounter. But if you're careless you can still end up with no ammo and have to restart from an old save, if not restart the whole game. Last game this happened to me in was the first Evil Within. I can't remember what part it was but I got into a situation where I had to kill these creatures to progress and I had such little ammo that I kept running out and getting wrecked. His ex wound up marrying the dude lol They've got even shared custody now, though she lives primarily with her mother because of school. True that doctors are supposed to adhere to the Hippocratic Oath, but that doesn't mean they're required to risk wasting a healthy heart on a patient who can't make the effort to ensure they're the best candidate for that heart. They didn't deny the patient wholesale. They only moved him down the list. When someone seeks a gastric bypass, which in some cases is a surgical procedure crucial to improving one's life expectancy, they are often tasked with making changes to their diet and meeting weight loss milestones before they are allowed to get the surgery, in order to improve the odds that the patient will thrive and succeed and continue making better health choices post-op. This heart transplant is no different. They want the dude to live a long life with the heart he's being given. The least he could do is improve the chances he won't drop dead of covid a year after receiving the heart. Except this one decided that this man should die, literally signing his death warrant just to grandstand for a vaccine. The patient signed his own death warrant through his failure to make himself a prime candidate for the transplant. It's less "grandstanding for a vaccine" (phenomenally dumb take btw) and more standing up for making certain the organ goes to the best possible candidate who will appreciate the opportunity and make the effort to improve their own life to make full use of the heart, hopefully living out a long, full, and content life. --- Terminal Crazy http://i.imgur.com/R9TrmGD.jpg |

If he didn't communicate that the request was due to an allergy, that's on him. It's regrettable more care wasn't taken in the preparation on his order, but again this is part of why I avoid these places with my own kid, because if there's a bunch of high schoolers working there I don't fully trust them to be knowledgeable and properly trained and vetted in food safety protocols. It's not known if they made the drink with nuts in it, or just made the drink on dirty equipment, but in either case if the father didn't mention the allergy that's on him. And no, I don't care about the "I HAVE A GLANDULAR PROBLUM" scenarios.We did have to adhere to fitness standards but they would give fat people endless waivers. Unless they were getting really sloppy, morbidly obese or their weight was affecting their job performance significantly they would just give you a pass. That dude is, at his core, a violent racist. You don't commit acts of violence and spew racist hatespeech and then turn around and say "this isn't who I am" because you got fucking caught and are seeing the consequences of your behavior. No, motherfucker. That's exactly who you are. Can't speak for his experience, but speaking from my own, cheating is pretty much even between men and women. For one thing, military spouses consist of men as well as women. There are plenty of women who deploy and leave a man at home. There are women in almost every MOS in the military, and as such, women in most companies/brigades/battalions etc etc. Most deployments consist of men and women. And hookups while on deployment are definitely a thing. So people who deploy can cheat while on deployment... It's not just "lonely Jodys" at home in the States. So no, it's not mostly women staying home fucking around. And for what it's worth, cheating isn't as much a problem in the military as people think. It absolutely happens, and maybe happens at a higher rate than civilian relationships (I'd have to look into that), but while cheating on deployment is a reality, there are just as many people who remain faithful.
