I mean you can do it whenever you want, but my point is you're ignoring the fact that IGCD has literally shared zero reads and doesn't have a reason like focusing on defending himself to justify it. You're also ignoring the fact that I did explain why I find Abacus scummy and the only thing stopping me from pushing him is the fact that I scanned him innocent, which even if I'm not going to try and get him lynched it's still a read

and on that note, why would I have faked a scan on Abacus anyway? I could have easily faked a scan on death or IGCD because I didn't have a read on them instead of taking the guy I was pushing two days ago off the table and forcing me to actually look somewhere else when I had a decent platform to keep pushing Abacus. This is all wifom of course but it would just be creating extra work for myself

You and plum have played more than enough mafia to know that someone defending themself instead of scum hunting is not a scum tell and never has been. People don't like getting mislynched

We've gotten to the point where you're calling me scum for not finding scum in the first 12 hours of a day when most of the game was asleep. Meanwhile you have ICGD doing nothing but assembling a claims list but that's okay because you've already decided I'm the last scum.

Oh good, we've gotten to the part where you decide I'm scum and just twist everything to fit that conclusion. It's Eff 2021 mafia all over again

Also backup makes a lot of sense with two scum teams because town power can get mowed down very quickly. If it was two power roles that got killed night 1 instead of two vanillas things look a lot different (also if we didn't lynch scum every day and eliminate one of the teams very quickly)

I didn't really consider waiting. Isquen should be drawing protection every night so I don't think he will ever die. He should also be watching one of the protective roles, so scum can't really kill there, either. (They did end up killing Corrik and we saw how well that went) So I thought there was a good chance scum would kill me before any other town power because Isquen was unlikely to watch me, and there was definitely at least one more guilty scanning scum (possibly two). Plus I thought testing EDumey was a good idea

It's not exactly a backup, but basically a (much) weaker doctor. And I'd believe that being an option over a "choose any flipped person available"

I mean, I would hope you believe that considering he already flipped. Either way, that's not what a back up is. I have the full powers of whatever role I back up, not a weaker version

This claim was my initial thought that Corrik made more sense as a backup in general to MZero's general backupness. It wasn't totally accurate, but I still feel death delayer is still a backup that makes more sense than a just all around backup

I literally got off Plum the moment I could after he claimed a Doctor. If I wanted to be opportunistic I could have stayed on him easily. VERY easily. You were on him, Lopen was on him, and IGCD was on him by proxy. I had no reason to hop off when I did if I were trying to be opportunistic.

Secondly,

I mean you jumped on plum early when a number of people were suspecting him before he claimed doctor. Of course you jumped off after he claimed, it would have been suicidal to stay on him

and yes I know you have gotten some heat for that (I was the first to bring it up, after all) but that's not the only reason you look scummy

Anyway if you guys are going to lynch me because of my role you might as well get it over with because I can't defend myself against that

Seemed incredibly low value actually. Hell Corrik gave you a reasonable option that would confirm a bunch of people and have you scan someone else to give us maximum information to work with. Not sure what you would gain by supposedly targeting Dumey

No I targeted EDumey so I could confirm his power and scan whoever he targeted in the process as a two-for-one special, plus maybe catch him in a lie if he claimed to use it on someone else (or if Isquen caught him but I admittedly didn't think of that"

Scum can usually use their night action and perform the factional night kill on the same night. This would mean the last scum is likely in the vanillas and didn't want to be seen moving.

I've only seen specific role backups before like Backup Recruiter and Kirby's Backup Hero before, not just general "choose anything" Backups. But if there were ever a game for scum to need a little redundancy, the high protection setup we're looking at could be it.

There was actually a universal backup in the first game I played here, Luigi in Ulti's SSBM mafia. I just checked and you were in the game so you must be scum for lying /s

Here's the thing though. Red and Mzero claimed non-moving roles. If they are seen moving ever, they are toast.

I've been seen moving already. And, the person isn't dead, roleblocked, etc.

What? Once I inherit someone's powers I would be seen moving, I would assume.

To clarify, I mean... what you know about the character shouldn't really matter when claiming. If you're going to go into any detail it should be a paraphrase of your role PM, so mentioning he doesn't know anything about Zafina feels off

Plum, Ultimate looked bad before the work "slip". Very early on Ultimate tried to play it off that Sbell slipped when Sbell was calling people on him scum. He only got worse from there with that Lea argument at the end of the day...

Also, you kept lowering the chance of Uti being scum though out the day, despite the evidence stacking up against him. Why?

Interesting bit about Ulti was that Lea named dropped Corrik with something like "why are not voting an inactive like Corrik" (not exact, but close enough). Wonder why he didn't vote the person name dropped?

Lea is a Corrik whisperer. She has a post on topic 2 that basically said what Corrik said this topic. Also felt like it may have given him an out?

This seems like a opportunistic vote by Abacus. I was going in on plum and several others had chimed in that they thought he was scummy, but hadn't jumped on yet. Seems like he was trying to get on early. I'm working under the assumption plum is town because yeah

A few things stand out from this new thread so far. The three votes on Kirby in the first 10 posts for one, but unlike Lopen in post #47 I dont feel strongly about Isquen or peaf being scum right now, and Im on the fence with Lea. If anything it makes me wonder if I missed something on Kirby. I remember Ben voicing he was pretty convinced Kirby is scum, so the timing of Ben being killed certainly raises an eyebrow.

Another thing which stands out is the irony of plum pointing at IGCD and Corrik after ultis flip when he was just as guilty of defending ulti and did so numerous times. I thought plum was scum yesterday and nothing has happened to change my mind.

Lastly, in addressing Lea/Ulti, Lopen feels town to me, even though Im still unsure what to make of the whole situation. Ulti was scum and lied about his flavor saying he was ctes main. Points for Lea. But its really weird how ulti brought it up out of nowhere and Lea had a slightly different response from her early post. Initially she said ctes main and yet when ulti brought this up towards end of day she said one of ctes mains. Whats the probability of ulti doing that out of the freakin blue and Lea coincidentally having said something she needed to revise? Its a weird situation and Im gonna pause thinking about it for now until my sleep deprived brain gets coffee in the morning

This is such a scum post and I'm ashamed for not catching. I had my blinders on too tight going after plum. Anyway, not a good look for Kirby here. Mentions the Kirby votes but doesn't really do anything with and uses ambiguous language like "raises an eyebrow" and "wonder if I missed something". It looks like he's getting ready to jump on Kirby if the train leaves the station but doesn't want to if he can avoid it.

plum claimed after midnight, day ended at 8am and then there's a 24 hour night phase during which we cannot post. Then today started at 7am and you're coming in here acting like I've just been AFK when I mentioned in the signup topic I would be asleep during the deadline

also it wasn't even 40 hours, it was like 30 and 24 of them were the night phase, so I don't like the way you're twisting that to make me look bad
