I would have eventually saved Tapu Bulu if mnk didn't get to it first. The domain change allows us to have more frequent contests as a result of the increase in ad revenue produced by combining GameFAQs and GameSpot traffic numbers together. This was a major problem over the past few years as we've had only 2 major site contests after 2011 (plus the Years Contest last year). In the first round of the contest, I'll start off by using my first set of saves on Pokemon unlikely to be saved by someone else with their first set of saves (to avoid save conflicts with other users). I expect most of these 21 users to participate in the contest, but there should be more users who are planning to get on board with the contest on the first day even though they haven't posted in this topic. Take you 10 minutes to post the topic fully. Tallies would be a nightmare. Having all 807 Pokemon isn't a problem if we have an aggressive elimination schedule to cut through the crap really fast. There will be at least 20 eliminations per round in the early rounds. I think it's necessary to have every single Pokemon in this contest to avoid upsetting users who are disappointed that their favorite Pokemon isn't in this contest. Unlike with other Save My contests such as SMFFFC or Disney, Pokemon is rather unique in the fact that every single Pokemon will at least one person within the worldwide Pokemon fanbase that loves it. The only real accusations of racism in the Pokemon world was Jynx's original Pokemon design where it had black skin. I remember you didn't participate in DSRage's Pokemon of the Year contests since those were nomination based contests and only about one third of the total Pokemon field actually made it into the contest. So many of your favorites weren't in those contests and even those that made it in often didn't do very well because of the contest format. That means you won't need to save him until it gets to 4 saves! Save trading will be mostly irrelevant early in the contest since the early rounds will only require one save to avoid being eliminated. The only save trading you'll see early in the contest are the so-called NR saves where someone will save one of your Pokemon near the end of the round, in exchange for saving one of their Pokemon in the next round. Well, this still doesn't really solve the issue of other special characters that aren't emoji.
