She maybe associating you with the threat (sadly) .. maybe just leave food outside and let her eat at her own pace?i did. a big adult stray cat ate it instead. yesterday at 10 PM i left a single pouch of wet food and a bowl of dry food. not touched. she just sleep there on her bed i set up. i checked again around 12 AM, not touched. around 2 AM i checked, the cat is gone somewhere, but around that i heard movement, turned out there are other cat. adult, male, pretty big ate it instead. the kitten doesn't come back until around morning 6 AM and when i bring out new food she still doesn't want it. i talked to her, petted her, hugged her still no. i thought i should just at least try to fill her up a little bit, and then the hand-feed accident happened. she just ran to god know where :( i almost didn't sleep last night. i think i am angry. at myself, partly at the cat too i think. it's affecting my anxiety that has been on check the past 6 months. i don't know. maybe i will just give up. i suck. i feel terrible. --- ManWithGun has a big iron on his crotch |

| Lunaaaa 12/02/20 9:18:18 PM #483 | i tried everything. i don't know. i feel like a failure. the cat just won't eat. i feed her on the streets, not the door or porch where rivel doesn't go. i bought 3 different brands of wet food, 3 different dry food, mixing it warm chiken broth. still no. i think i ****ed up. i haven't seen her eat anything since yesterday so i tried hand feeding her, smearing little bits of wet food on her gum, she really doesn't like it and ran away  i can't go to the vet until friday. i honestly don't know what to do anymore. --- ManWithGun has a big iron on his crotch |
