Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney [DS Lite]

I suspect y'all want case rankings, so here goes. For me it's 4, 5, 2, 3, 1. Spoiler free writeup follows:

Case 4 - Turnabout Goodbyes had lots of history, very cool twists and turns, and I find Gregory Edgeworth to be quite handsome.
Case 5 - Rise from the Ashes was very long and also twisty, sometimes in ways that didn't make sense to me. But a lot of the trucking around, talking to more characters and gathering 30 pieces of evidence was very exciting.
Case 2 - Turnabout Sisters was shocking. Not only did it eliminate some plot armor, but it delves into corruption and protection schemes. Money talks, man.
Case 3 - Turnabout Samurai was fun, but not as engaging as some of the other cases. I found myself wandering around without much concrete to go on for much of this case. I did like the psychological aspects of this case's resolution, though!
Case 1 - The First Turnabout is very nostalgic, as it's the first case you play, and it's a little bit of a tutorial fight:

You gain valuable insight into how court proceedings work, what to look for, and how witnesses react, especially when the truth begins to surface.

YMMV, but if you're looking for clean comedy, Dry Bar Comedy is halfway decent. I enjoy the sets that Zoltan Kaszas has done on there. Seconding Anjelah Johnson, Jim Gaffigan, and Tim Hawkins. Michael Jr. is pretty good if you like observational, and Trey Kennedy on YouTube has wacky, accurate observational reenactments of everyday life.

In the middle of a job transition myself right now, and wondering what fields y'all are in. I've done about 12 years of varying customer service/account management type jobs, everything from food service to library circulation clerk to weddings/events sales assistant.

If you like your current job. talk about why. If you don't like your current job, talk about why, or talk about a job that you did like and why.

What makes a job great, aside from money? What makes you look forward to going in? Is it people? Is it the work? Is it something rewarding about the work, or being able to see a job well done?

How do you know when it's time to leave a job? Do you leave when you're just not being challenged, or do you wait until you're totally fed up and then throw in the towel?

Jobs, man. Let's talk.

Like I could have added a pile of video game music but only 8 people of the 100 would have liked it. So don't go to crazy on Disney etc, unless thats the feel of the room I guess.

For dinner/bgm, we created a selection of instrumental music or adaptations from anime and video games [e.g., Smooth McGroove, Walt Ribeiro, HarpTwins]. The result was that most people enjoyed but didn't recognize the music. The table and a half that did were laughing when they recognized the different tracks.

I don't know if wedding favors/souvenirs are common in the US of A, but as a guest I like those that are useful instead of purely decorative like a mini notebook or comb. But after Googling, something like hot cocoa packet is cute.

Our venue tacked on cookies with a monogram/initial of our family name as part of the dessert bar, which is edible. Best way to go if you can't settle on a useful item, and a lot of American wedding guests just leave favors behind.

From a gluten free perspective, an acceptable bread or starch may not always be available. A pile of sandwich fillings is still, in that case, a sandwich - and that's good enough for me.

Much like sappy occasion cards and human beings, it's what's on the inside that counts. I'm of the opinion that we need to have universal terminology that applies, no matter how the person chooses to dine.

When serving myself, I have filled the hamburger bun with 1/3 of the meat typically served. Is it then a Tidy Joseph? No, it's still a sloppy joe.

The sauce, meat, etc. all tastes distinctly like a sloppy joe. I come from the midwest, so I'm not familiar with coneys. Internet results are returning 'sloppy hot dog'. This article from 1992 does confirm that "On close inspection of the recipe, some will recognize the ingredients of the sloppy Joe." https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1992-10-01-9203290499-story.html

Most people aren't going to tack on 'meat' or 'sandwich' - the lack of distinction in usage means that OP is in fact eating a sloppy joe.

On a related note; why do tall women/women partnered to short men constantly wear tall-ass heels??

Tall women are openly berated for wearing heels - the primary complaint being "you don't need those, so why are you wearing them"?

If you feel pretty in heels, and you're with a guy who appreciates you for who you are, he isn't going to feel threatened by your height if you're already taller to start. Why not wear them for special occasions or when you want to feel prettier? Maybe it's just confirmation bias - lots of girls wear heels, but we only notice when they tower above the guy they're with.

Take it from me, I've been nearly 5'10" for half my life.
