Did some research and it seems the best way is to freeze your onion for a couple minutes before cutting with a sharp knife.

I did play this, by the by. Very good and essential.

Gris - the ending, and also at the end of the bird boss.

Fate:Grand Order - I was fine through the cutscene of Mash dying, but the part where you had to pick a different support character and she was unavailable destroyed me. Just ugly sobbing.

Ace Attorney 3-5 - whenever I see that sweet little flashback photo of those two, it's happy tears! Basically anything that makes Maya [text to throw people off] cry, makes me cry.

The House in Fata Morgana - the scene where Michel is bleeding and Giselle hugs him. Also several scenes where a character is being cruel to Michel.

I'm sure there's more that's not coming to mind.

This was extremely tough. I've made favorite character and husbando lists from time to time, but picking out my all-time faves? I went with "if you could only have access to 10 anime and all the rest would disappear, what would you save". Stuff with staying power, or nostalgia, or just fun to watch. Nothing will ever supplant Samurai Champloo for me. Nothing, you hear me?! Nothing.

I wanted to get into films like 1995's Ghost in the Shell [Motoko], 2000's Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust [D], and 2002's Millennium Actress [Chiyoko]. As it turns out, I haven't watched enough anime films to really do a top 10 without getting into Ghibli or Miyazaki, and bah. Too mainstream XD

I've been interested in Fena, but there's a lot of waves that have been made about it having one of the most disappointing endings in anime history, so I've been weary.

To be fair, the 'plot' was not very heavy to begin with nor is it a masterpiece. It's one of those non-endings, I guess?

I don't care too much about plot or endings, as long as I learn a little bit more about the characters on my journey, I'm happy. I know that puts me in a minority.

Quick, watch this if you haven't already. Fun, slice-of-life, comic misunderstandings, friendship, awkwardness, etc.

Just finished Fena: Pirate Princess. Glad to see the character designer from Samurai Champloo at the helm. Music by Yuki Kajiura [NOIR, Xenosaga, had a hand in everything you've ever loved probably https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=3914 ] It was a fun little 12 episodes. Adventures, chosen one, swashbuckling, strong ladies, seafaring, twins, etc. Hot people being attractive.

I was ready to mourn since yesterday's news didn't sound good, but I wasn't ready for that Nash post.

Am still werking my way through Oniisama e... currently on episode 5.

Finishing up Taisho Otome Otogibanashi, only a few episodes left.

Most visual novels are vastly improved by an excellent soundtrack, because otherwise you're just reading - not much else to contribute to the experience. Umineko and House in Fata Morgana are what I'm thinking of.

Silent Hill 2 definitely elevated the material, which was good enough on its own.

Can't think of any where the music actively detracted. Games need music, though - the ones that only have sfx of beeps/boops [I'm looking at you, JezzBall] are kinda terrible.

Always knew who he was, in part bc I took violin lessons as a child and we were encouraged to listen to all kinds of string music. That was right around the time [mid-late 90s] he played on the soundtrack for Seven Years in Tibet and his career really took off.

I wonder what hair products do to it.

Have been meaning to watch this one.

I've never liked Solrock's eyes, despite the cool overall design. Went with Lunatone.

Dolores' part is the best part as far as content, but Camilo's is more fun to listen to imo. Camilo's part also made more of an impression because I often turn up the volume to hear Dolores, lawl

Best part is truly the last part as they all sing in parts all over each other, wish I would have seen that before voting.

If I never hear anyone sing the praises of Let It Go ever again, it will be too soon. Frozen was enjoyable the first couple times, but the longer I thought about the messaging and presentation, the more I disliked it.

Not sure if I should be excited or concerned about the appearance of Namor/Sub-Mariner in Phase 4. :\ I have no doubts that Tenoch Huerta can do it, he certainly looks the part. My main concern is that he's an anti-hero that's morally all over the map, and I've heard he's slated to be a villain in BP2... that's not very nuanced.
