See the video. The things this does aren't necessary. Counter Strike has anti-cheat and it doesn't require as much permissions, remain always on, or break your game until you reboot if you turn it off.
I should have been more clear: I don't agree with this -or- think it's necessary. What I do think is it was bound to happen eventually and I'm surprised it took this long. It's yet another part of the massive enshittification campaign.

kirbymuncher posted...
I agree with this in some sense but also... the vast vast majority of people playing league are not professional players and there is no money involved
But it would be very difficult for those poor, itty bitty corporations to have to do more work than just yeeting a mass change into the audience. You want them to pass out tee-shirts when they can just fire them at the crowd with the tee-cannon?

Brotherhood and Brother hood are two very different things.

One is an association, society, or community of people linked by a common interest, religion, or trade, the other is your brother's hood on his hoodie or jacket or other hooded article of clothing or perhaps the hood of his car or the neighborhood where he (your brother) lives.

It's 167+26 episodes (original run ends at 167, final act was the conclusion that aired later for another 26).

As for if you should watch it... You could do worse. It's cheesy and predictable, but fun and has its charms and lots of that Rumiko Takahashi humor, and while the music's great, you're going to be tired of hearing it after a few seasons and it's not going anywhere. The dub is ok, the sub is decent if you prefer subs (I like it over the dub and I normally try to watch dubs over subs). There's also some filler you can dodge if you lose interest by then, and four movies to check out if you're super into the show.

If you like manga I would honestly recommend the manga over the anime.

Rumiko chose interesting hills to die on. I think she associated pantyshot enjoyers with a certain kind of pervert, which she didn't like. I'd say she considered it more lewd than plain nudity because of the types that take an interest in it.

Anyway, I really wish this series would get a remake or like an Inuyasha Kai, that kind of thing.

I can definitely agree toxic behavior like that has no place in games. It doesn't bother me, because I grew up with it and could care less, but it's not something we should just expect people to get desensitized to instead of correcting it.
The anonymity of online gaming really just brings out the shittiest behavior in some people, and they need to be kept in line or kicked out. Simple as.

I think it was one of the Tenchu games (Tenchu Z?) where holding the stealth button while running just resulted in a slightly slower, more mindful run, and I really, really appreciated that compared to crouch walking everywhere. Crouch walking, especially in armor like in Assassin's Creed, has always looked so dumb to me. It makes sense when next to a short fence you're ducking behind or something like that, but otherwise it just looks goofy.

I think crouching in general should be a context-based action. If you press stealth but you're behind a wall or sneaking up on someone from behind, crouching doesn't make you more stealthy. But if you're in some brush or tall grass, or behind a short fence, absolutely crouch.

Sure, they can probably get up to and sustain high speeds in space to travel.
But they can't move short distances so fast the other fighter can't even detect it like in Dragonball.
And those are fighters who've trained to see other fighters who move at those speeds, getting outclassed (Piccolo and Goku).

The Viltrumites wouldn't even see themselves being destroyed.

Fighters in Dragonball were already moving too fast for the naked eye to see, and able to blow up the moon with energy attacks. And those are just humans in the Dragon Universe. Goku as a child was beyond normal human perception in terms of speed, and far beyond the normal human in power. And Raditz completely eclipses him.

Omni-Man also isn't Supes levels of invulnerable - he's shown taking damage often enough from other characters, and his speed feats, etc. are nothing special. So your average Viltrumite is, compared to a Saiyan, not very fast... and while they're pretty strong and could deal some damage, it would be nowhere near enough to close the deal.

Saiyans stomp, and they stomp hard. The average Saiyan outclasses the top Viltrumite in terms of both speed and power. The Viltrumites may be a threat in Invincible, but most characters in Invincible aren't anything special. Viltrumites are, for example, FAR weaker than the Kryptonians they emulate.

Saiyans don't even need to bring Oozaru into the equation for the win.

I can deal with most but the "ultra-moe" voice that some characters have is super difficult to power through. This is actually from a game, but it's the worst example I can think of and always springs to mind:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfX37R0O4a8

Whenever a character with this voice checks in, it's time to check out. Nobody sounds like this naturally, in the history of forever, including today. It's a voice that only exists in anime.
