The incident follows a series of attacks on elderly Asian individuals A 70-year-old grandmother was knocked to the ground and robbed on her way home from the bank in Oakland. Video footage shows the grandmother walking on the sidewalk as an attacker runs up to her and pushes her over. Another assailant assists in the attack, stealing her handbag. The incident occurred on 3 February at 11am on 6th Avenue and International Boulevard in Oakland. According to the victims granddaughter, the suspects attempted to take her grandmothers cell phone and cash from the bank but failed. Whilst her grandmother was only suffered bruising, she is still shaken by the traumatic experience and is recovering at home. A police report will be filed. The attack follows a similar incident in Oakland in which a 91-year-old man and two other seniors were attacked in the Chinatown area.

It was recently revealed that the suspect who was arrested for pushing the 91-year-old man in Oakland was already out on bail. 28-year-old Yahya Muslim was charged with assault, battery, elder abuse and a special allegation of offenses while out on bail.

Lost 900 on AMC though pretty much everything else is up.

Still feels bad man.

I lost on AMC too. I got in at 4.50 with 50 shares way before the push. Averaged up to $9.79 thinking it was going to be the next GME and ended up having my stop loss triggered when it dropped to below 8.50. Ending up losing 150. Could have been worse but I turned a winner into a loser by not only averaging up instead of taking out my initial investment I also didnt cash out while ahead.

But I have since made back the $1,500 I lost on that day across several of the memes tanking.

Is it a good idea to buy a little bit of APHA and other weed stocks each week as Im able to? I figure even if Im not buying in a dip everything will rocket when legalization even starts to get moving a little bit.

If you bullish on a stock then no matter your entry you will make money on it. To me it seems more likely the weed stocks go up than go to zero right now.

How are people feeling about FOUR? Didnt quite see the jump I expected from the SB commercial, but how do they look long term? Trying to see if I want to hold long-term or pull it out and reinvest in a weed ETF.

I used it to swing trade over the weekend. It has an uphill battle. It is against Payal and Square. Im trying to build my account so I do short term trades with the higher priced stocks. So I dont have time to wait and see if FOUR could beat PYPL or SQ.

If you think it can do better than either than hold it because other two are trading at over 200.

This whole stock market stuff makes me not even care when the next stimulus checks come. I even made back what I lost from the GME/AMC debacle and then some thanks to just TLRY and APHA alone today and that isn't even counting the other stocks I have that went up.

I expect sell offs but it tough to focus on other stuff with these gains.

TLRY is up over 35% and just broke $40. Wow. The other weed stocks doing good too but TLRY the biggest gainer.

That APHA play of holding their shares into the TLRY merger looking good if they stay this far apart and keep the conversion rate.

I can't really find any info on project price by end of year but I see this company used to be $5 per share back in 2009 and completely tanked. Any idea why they tanked for so long but stayed afloat?

ENZC isn't the only play right now. There are many ways to make money in this market. For example I got several stocks in the weed section they are all up with the biggest increase coming from TLRY.

It probably depends on when you bought in. ZOM is probably a bit closer to where people bought in. OCGN if you bought it Friday morning or earlier you got in under $3.40 so you still up like 300%.

I did mention ZOM tanking a possibility in the pre market so not really surprised.

Lol of course today is the day Fidelity allows me to buy ENZC. After 2 weeks. And when it is .95 instead of .23 when I wanted to buy.

That happened to me with BNGO. I was getting into stocks and BNGO was at .88 before my account got approved it had already went to $7.

In general stocks do tend to dip a bit in the 15-30 minutes after the open as people sell off their profits. But with ZOM dipping to the exact price of the offering I have no idea. An example from yesterday is OCGN. They had the same type of offering at the price of 7.65 and that came no where close to 7.65 yesterday.

It is probably that offering I mentioned earlier in the thread. The floor it going to dip to is likely going to be 1.90. But with this bull market who knows. Maybe people buy the dip preventing it from dropping to the offering price. I guess the good news is if you dont have a position in ZOM this type of dip is the situation where one can enter the stock.

My P/L numbers every week has been at least + $600 for the last 4 weeks and my account started with $3,000 and I barely know much about stocks.

Making 1k a week seems possible in the next few weeks if someone entered with 25k. If you pick the right stocks.

Speaking of TLRY wow it is up 18% as of right now in pre market. After going up 16% yesterday. I saw a couple articles saying it might be short squeeze happening.

I dont know if that the case though because pretty much all the weed stocks are up right now in pre market.

TLRY and APHA are likely to merge. With APHA turning into .833 TLRY shares so do DD on if you want to get TLRY option calls or APHA shares as the play for that situation. Others to check out are CGC, CRON, ACB, MSOS, CURLF, and TCNNF.

CURLF and TCNFF are US companies and they are stuck to being OTC stocks right now. But will probably get uplisted when US legalizes it.

Yep. Offering of Common Shares for 1.90. It can go either way but if it were to tank that offering price of 1.90 will likely be the lowest it goes.

It just depends on demand of stock the OCGN offering was in the $7 range but that stock never dipped that low today.

ZOM announced an offering. So would be interesting what happens tomorrow. OCGN had one today and their stock still rose but usually they mean stock price tanks.

Stop chasing. Put money into things thatll grow consistently, things that are massive like Amazon, Alibaba, Apple, Disney, Microsoft, etc.

Get in one some major index funds instead of looking for the next big thing.

It probably depends on the reason for trading. Im trying to turn 3k into 100k in 6 months. I probably cant do that if I put it into stuff like Disney, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

Putting money in something under $20 and it doubling is what I'd probably have to do for the profit im looking for.

All they needed was the USA approval, which I haven't looked to see if they actually have the thumbs up on that yet, I wish I would have held through their shit but they legit lost me a while back.

If they get or have approval for distribution in the US now or soon, it will go much higher

What im hearing is that also the OCGN COVID vaccine might work on kids. If that turns out to be true then it means kids can go back to school and the stock might shoot up to triple digits.

Either way its a great swing trade off the hype.

Anyone in this topic that's making huge gains recently? Is it all from these penny stocks recently or have you been investing for a while? Or just have the means due to a high paying job?

I only put in $3,000 into this a month ago and the market value of my stocks/options is $5,200 as of time of this post.

Im on pace to double my investment from a mixture of swing trading stocks and long term holds. I do the swings with both pennies and more expensive stocks. A recent example of a swing trade with higher priced stock I just did was I bought 5 shares of FOUR on Thursday for 74.75 and sold this morning at open for $80 for a profit of $25. It doesn't seem like much but it adds up swinging stocks for profits of $25-100.

Too bad I got out of ocgn forever ago, I still made double what I managed to put in last week but man did I have a lottttt more a month or two ago

I kinda regret not buying more before the close friday. I only got 30 shares. I was then thinking wait for the dip this morning people got to sell it off and it would go under $7. Instead it went up even more and is around $11 right now.

But in a way I still made money. What I spent the rest of my money on SENS is up 25%. So getting that no matter the price Friday worked out with that stock.
