What's the easiest Argent Odin to run for this mission? I remember the holy-weak one was a pain even though my team is amazing. Wind weak has two achromatic aegises so that doesn't seem like the easy one. I don't remember the fights that well...

Wow, Spiralling Depths is super long! It seems like usually they roll stuff like this out a couple dungeons per day. This reminds me of the really old days like the Legendary Plunder event but even that one was only 30 dungeons. I ran the first 50 tonight almost full auto, not sure how hard the next 50 are going to be...

Free LBO was Vivi's, which is new to me and I like him. The 6* were dupe Cait Sith awakening (already max honed, so a total waste) and Noctis OSB.

I'm waffling on whether to spend 25 mythril on the magic AASB draw. My numbers tell me it's a worse investment than doing five LOTR draws, but the guaranteed awakening part and chance for multiples is tempting. But it's still just about 25% for getting something I'd be pretty happy to get.

Yes, haste is usually a separate status from the buff. This was a lot easier to check when Mister P was still updating his PDF, the best resource on the game that ever existed (RIP). But basically it's just groups of stat buffs that usually go together.

This topic really made me lower my valuation of banner 2 and raise mine of banner 1:

For B1 I already valued Quina's sync very highly and liked some of the other stuff, but I think I was mostly put off by Celes going Holy when I have way too many good holy characters already. But I can still use her for VI dreambreaker and Bahamut. And these are all characters I already have stuff for so picking up any of these items would let them immediately help with endgame content.

Meanwhile for B2 I already have Lilisette's awakening, and I have Cait Sith's awakening honed which makes his sync mostly redundant. Ultimecia's dark stuff would be nice but not really a major need (I'd rather have her wind sync). This banner is kind of Mog 2 or bust, and I feel like I can get by with the other supports I have (Cait and Orran especially).

Just save at least one marker so you can do each daily mission, which gives you another marker.

I don't think you're missing much. You might not get the optimal drops but the autoclear thing does seem pretty generous. As long as you run all the stages once and you're not in a hurry to get all the gear you can just use autoclear.

After you fully cap break something, is there any way to inherit a new passive? I assume there must be, but those hero artifacts don't show up on the cap break screen anymore...

Yeah, they should just give you the best one for everyone if you beat the boss. There are so many different grades they could just make them rewards for 60/70/80/90% completions.

It's annoying move, but... it doesn't really matter. The difference between the 3% passive and 5% passive is basically nothing.

I got my first useful item from the 10x daily, Sarah's good USB. Also I learned you still get labyrinth points when you use a marker to skip the dungeon, and you can even complete missions like "get 50000 points in a single run" that way. That'll definitely make it easier to complete the mission to get 4m points.

First attempt on Kalavinka Striker (magic), I got him to 20.8%, and that was without looking at the AI thread (since TFMuphy hasn't made one yet). This doesn't seem that bad if you can beat Odin.

I did all the magicites and did my elemental ticket pulls.

single tickets: Bartz sync, nothing else.

When I saw the sword I thought it was Terra which would have been much better. But at least I got a new sync I guess.

Physical Titan is definitely easier because of Cloud's USB1, can you make a physical team for the fight?

Holy team trick is great, I got through the 500 level with it with no problem. I need to grind some more for Rinoa and Red's gear and then I'll try to take on Kalavinka Striker. I should probably set up the drop detector but that's a pain so I'll just play as intended for now.

Thanks, that's a good tip. Mind not being affected by fatigue is lol. No chain needed? Also wouldn't it make more sense to use Rem's sync first to get the quick ATB more?

At 400 difficulty it looks like I have to actually pay attention, one of my teams was about to wipe and I had to restart and do the battle manually. In another fight they won but I had multiple characters dead and only got expert. It might be easier to just load a favorite each time and then not have to pay attention during the autobattle. The biggest issue is my healer not starting with MM I think.

This Labyrinth is LONG. I heard it was but I didn't realize quite how long it would take to do every stage. That's kinda cool though. I'm on a 220 now and my teams are definitely not optimized, I threw them together as fast as I could to auto the easy levels. I'm running a physical holy team that crushes everything quick with Lightning and Orlandu's 3x instant actions. Then I'm running my earth magic team which is decent but has 2nd string RMs and stuff. And then I'm running a IX realm team which is going to have to be replaced because I don't have a realm chain (at least not on the team, I might have one I can sub in?)

Red XIII unique on the daily. Not going to spend my tickets until I have time to check the pools and see which ones are best for me which will probably be tonight.

I ran the first two labyrinth levels... having three completely separate teams with no shared accessories, abilities, or even RMs is more of a pain than I thought! For the first levels you can easily win without accessories and RMs but I'm a little worried about the 400-500 difficulty floor.

Galuf's sync and his 2nd awakening (the better one) are on fest banner 5, so that might be a better option than spending tickets on FFV realm draws. I'll put more focus there if I can't beat Kalavinka Striker.

True but since I'm not good enough to beat him right away it helps to be able to save my team after trying a few times, so I can go from there next time.

My earth teams are pretty good so I'll give it a try, but I'm not sure if they're good enough for the next level of content. I probably should have grabbed Red XIII's sync instead of my favoritism pick of Zidane. Physical is probably better since I have Sync+awakening for Gladiolus and Noctis.

I really hope this maintenance gives us the bump to 100 saved teams, with more dragon king fights and labyrinth starting I really need it. I'm hyped for the banner refresh and labyrinth.

Is it just me or does that FF1 remake look absolutely terrible? I held off on posting my initial reaction but I'm really not sure who that game is supposed to appeal to, with tone and character design so different from the original (and in my view, pretty juvenile). At this point everyone who remembers FF1 fondly is old.

I already had syncs for both characters so now they're very usable for endgame content, which is exactly why I wanted to pull on this banner. Definitely worth it! I guess I should give the cardia missions a try before they disappear.

I'm going to be doing some pulls on 5, and also 1 and 4. The one thing I'm not sure about is how good Limit Summons are. The proshellga seems kinda wasted if you need to wait for the limit gauge.

If you don't have Rem, Orlandu, and Lightning's syncs yet then I think it's definitely worth doing 10 total pulls so you can grab one of those for free. Focus on banner 2, once you get a good haul there split the rest of your pulls among the remaining banners. I wouldn't do more than 10 pulls.

The selection isn't great but I would grab Maria (or Rydia) if I can't beat the first Labyrinth with what I have, otherwise Cloud's darkness sync.

I agree it's not the best fest but it has some good stuff and that free sync selection is hard to pass up. What's on the XI banner? I'm not able to find that one since it seems like another DK with no event attached.

I am using the sword damage LMR and +40% spellblade damage RM. I don't know why his damage is so low in phase 3, he did break 20k sometimes in phase 2 (although I think that was with crits).

Did my one pull between fests, 3/11 Fran awakening, Balthier awakening, and Balthier G+. Pretty good pull, not sure if it's enough to let me beat the dreambreaker yet though.

Also, why was Galuf's party critfix SB never released in Global?? There are only two party crit fixes in the realm, the other one is Xezat's AASB. I would totally spend the gems for that.

I spent a lot of time today trying to do the FFV Dragonking, but the best I got was down to 21.2%. I got dead ended in phase 3 because I don't have a good way to break 20k there. Bartz has two cap breaks but his damage isn't even close to 20k at that point. My other biggest problem was Exdeath being a little short of casting his awakening before Memory Bite which really slows everything down. My HC is at 120 and everyone's fully dived so I dont think I can get this one without more soul breaks, or wasting a lot more time on it.

XV is one of my best realms too, although I can only run 5 cap breaks at a time (unless I fun 4 DPS characters). Sync+Awakening for Noctis and Gladiolus, awakening for Ignis, and most importantly I have a decent Iris with proshellga glint+, awakening, and Elarra-clone USB.

I'm planning to do a pull next week but on the second XII banner because I really don't want Vayne stuff.

I beat the XIV and XI Gilgamesh. Last night I got IX Dragonking down to 5% and I would have won if I didn't make a dumb mistake. I could have used Eiko's USB to get last stand back but I forgot and Beatrix died. Now I keep getting killed by P2T6 claw swipe, where even if I immediately queue up an instant heal USB the sap kills me before it goes off. One of the most annoying mechanics in the game and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I'm amazed you can remember who's beaten what. But yeah, my FF14 team needs help. They're struggling with d550 Gilgamesh right now. I think I'm going to try swapping Y'shtola and Tyro for Elarra and Papalymo... even though I only have Papa's USB, Tyro's really not contributing much and my Y'shtola feels weak.

I max realm artifacts because synergy makes a big difference at max level. I almost never max elemental artifacts because it's just not worth the rainbow crystals for an extra 10 points of attack most of the time.

I decided to grab Zidane's sync with my selection. It basically came down to that or Red XIII and I like Zidane more so I took his. (Also I haven't beaten that Bahamut yet and I have already beaten VII). Then I did the dreambreaker cardia missions and I got my first sub-30 dreambreaker... on Tactics. Still over 30 on IX but oh well. Need to try Dragonking but I might do the new Gilgamesh fights first.

I realized I had an awakening for Rain (who?) so I was able to clear the core torment pretty easily. I don't think I have enough for a dreambreaker though and I don't like this banner enough to pull.

I think it's not THAT different from then. AASBs are still the workhorses along with Syncs which are kind of like a cross between AASBs and Bursts - like awakenings they give you one level of damage cap break, and like bursts they give you commands, but the commands also link to your abilities so instead of doublecast you get sync command + ability. There will be lots of high end content for you to catch up on though since there is 5* Magicite, Dark Odin, 6* Magicite, and Holy Odin for elements, and there is Dreambreaker (basically Torment 3.0) and now we're starting Dragon king battles for realm teams.
