Life is not cheap at all. Sometimes I think death would be more cost efficient, especially if you get diagnosed with a disease. Like if I ever get cancer, it'd be cheaper for me just to kill myself than it would be to go through the trials and tribulations of attempting to get cured and be in millions upon millions of dollars of debt I will paying off for the rest of my life anyway.

How'd you find out she's alive?

I finally remembered where she worked and call her but the secretary had said she just left for the day. Anyway, she did finally message back and apologized while being surprised we were that worried about her well being.

These type of topics end up the same way in most cases. The TC asks for advise, ignores all advice given and resolves the problem themselves.

Except I wasn't ignoring the advice. One person said to wait another week before really doing something. I don't know her address, so I couldn't call police to do a wellness check.

Meanwhile, others weren't giving any advice, but being your typical GameFAQs dbag.

Nah. To put it bluntly, she was raped when she was younger and had to dump all of her old friends because they were friends with the guy. Since then, she's had a lot of trust issues with people, which is where I believe this problem is stemming from.

On the good side of news, she is not dead, so there's that. I left her a voice mail telling her that I am glad things are going well with her boyfriend and that we are there for her whenever she needs us no matter what, so never be afraid to contact us.

I need some serious advice. My wife and I have a friend who we haven't heard from in two weeks. She hasn't been on social media since then and she hasn't returned any of our calls or texts at all. The last thing she texted was that she wasn't paying much attention to her phone because she had just met an incredible guy she was spending her time with to get to know and now we're getting really concerned because she was supposed to come by this weekend to make plans since she was going to be spending Xmas with us and we've heard nothing.

What should we do? Is there any way to try to find out she is okay without coming off looking like a pair of stalkers?

Now I should also mention we actually don't know where she lives as we have never been to her place before. This was the first year she has actively been hanging out with us even though we have known her for several years now, so us stopping at her place to check on her is out of the question. She has no family that lives here who can help either (she also isn't on speaking terms with them).

Now maybe she really hasn't been on her phone to see our stuff, but I just want to make sure.

If you're older than 55 and this is your first term, then you're disqualified, and even 50 is too old in my book.

I mean, if before Covid happened, I figured Trump had this election in the bag, especially if the democrats were going to let Biden run. Trump is responsible for what happens to those under his watch. Covid may have been the cause, but it is Trump's fault as he decided to go golfing and then tell people the whole thing was a hoax instead of taking a proactive approach to the situation and work with the government to come up with a solution to keep it at bay ahead of time. Instead, state governments had to be reactive after it had already spread.

Trump, obviously. The man hasn't even tried to even lead during the pandemic. A real leader would show compassion and concern for those under his command, but all he does is degrade people and call them losers and suckers.
