Rented a Challenger R/T. Was cool because it just entered the fleet with like 6 miles.

I'm not into big cars, but it's so big, I just grew to like it. It doesn't try to be something it's not. It will be undeniably sloppier than a sports car, and not pull all that hard either for the trim/weight, but it's just presence.

Probably ages like garbage like most American cars, and if I went this route I'd hold out to get a 392 package at least, but I felt bad giving the keys back.

Interview in question:

Darius delivers pretty interesting interview. He speaks like he's between generations. Generally he handled those questions and redirected them very professionally. He didn't even dodge the topic, but worked the answer in a proper narrative.

Like 99% of the cast and features were white. I think Cory only had minority friends back in the middle school years and those guys never show up after one episode.

It does suck because I would've thought that cast would know better. Old Ben Savage interviews made him seem more educated than a typical 12 year old or whatever. And well, Feeney would not stand for this, unless he was closet racist.

There was actually an episode that addressed racism too, when Eric went out with that Native American girl.

not to sound rude, but it sounds like a job that pays less than engineering. i've thought about quitting engineering, but the pay to work ratio is ridic. i'm paid just so they can say they have someone as good as me on staff and i barely have to do anything
I was getting paid 50% more off the bat, over the MEP job. I do know it's not like higher level engineer money, though. However the commute is nothing, whereas if I landed in the Silicon Valley, I'm stuck in 101 traffic. I'd need another 50% raise to see a job out there as my practical worthwhile.

But that being said, yeah the lacking intelligence of the construction industry in is what bothers me most.

Like I literally just had someone ask me who I sent I an email to... When they are copied on said email to see for themselves.

What do you do instead now?
Project coordinator for a manufacturer.

It's kinda nice being at the far end of the construction industry as opposed to in between. GC's/Subs/Installers have no leverage with demands. Those parties need to give me what I need first to help them.

Same deal in MEP, but the work was so dead-feeling and you talk to less people. However, I hardly came across anyone straight up stupid. There was some peace in that.

I have my EIT/FE (in ME), and did want to see things through to get my PE, but I just never ended up in the machine design path I wanted to get into. Instead was in MEP and I knew I never wanted to keep doing that.

I wouldn't say I was naive about the engineering career prospects, but I never thought I'd be on the same page as those guys who left engineering. It's boring. Seems higher up you go, you just get more pressure in terms of business. I guess that's what happens when you look hard enough into any dream job/prospect some of the realities just sour the whole thing.

Been listening to Itzy a bit lately.

Not sure if the lack of variation I perceive with their sound is good in the sense that they're sticking to something, or getting a bit lacking. In terms of aesthetic imo, Yuna >>

Are there any Everglow fans here? I just got into them.

https://youtu.be/HvGql8HwOIM
Been into them, but tbh I feel their songs are just in it for short term appeal. Adios and Dun Dun were too similar (believe same producer? And lyrical theme is similar) with worse line distribution, but that move did pay off at least in terms of viewership.

Otherwise, it's the same reliance on a dominantly instrumental hook. The other songs on their albums are so-so imo. Not the most lyrically creative.

Girls seem more talented than what they have to work with.

I'd say it was NCT 127's best album far. Boom was a cool one shaking up the vocal line a bit. Kick It lyrically is like the goofiest thing to make a song about, but every listen makes it more likeable.

Before this, Dream was seemingly becoming more solid. I think that cutesy loser image is being abandoned, and they're just becoming a more coherent group than the rest.

WayV also came up really well imo. They had that one performance at a Chinese(?) awards show and that looked better than most KPop stages in quite a bit.

I don't think this was the exact interview I was listening to, but he does mention he stopped working out. I forgot the exact reason as I know this was brought up around the same time he had that panic attack on podcast (and cool guy letting it be aired) but I assume part of it is his schedule outside of Arrow was actually busier than most understand since we don't see him anywhere else.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QEuFuSPL5M

He did look a little...bigger in season 8, especially in the Spectre clothing. Also noticed the hand combat dumbed down a bit...although that also could've been due to scheduling and investing into choreography, but I can't imagine the CW couldn't afford that unless they literally budgeted towards CGI.

1 and 2 set the tone it should've kept
3 is funny hearing the lines they scripted to Ra's Al Ghul
4 sucked because that was basically filler to Kickstart Legends
5 was great but I can understand it came with useless characters.

Which carried over to awful season 6. Context of their "Civil War" was so disconnected. Literally the only good parts were the Adrian Chase hallucination episode and last fight.

7 started great, ended meh
8 was actually decent except for the crossover. Holy shit they did Stephen Amell a disservice. Part of the problem was he was out of shape, though, which stemmed from something else.

Passive aggressive is seriously the lamest approach to anything.

If you have the actual balls and aren't half-assign this thought of hating them... Well you'll know what to do. Otherwise. You're just being petty. Taking cheap shots and pretending you're making yourself feel good, which you'll find sad that you need to do so.

Just get in their face after work and throw down.

I've got somewhat of a good thing going.

My scenario is heavily working *with* the manager. I think it's mutual that we understand everyone brings something to the table and not one person, including her, knows all. Her paycheck and position are in the honest sum of time at the company, kinda the fact there's no reason why there'd be people holding her position, and she really does have to take the real burn from the CEO as well as work eating more into her life.

I'd like higher pay, as we all. I think at this company, though, it's been fair. I'm living well enough that I can't complain in the slightest bit - time and money.

Why do they make a point to have the fat pilot die? Porkins of course for starters. Don't remember the prequels too well, but with Disney it happened in TLJ (literally called him Tubbs), TRoS (don't recall if there was a name, but I did see a fat guy die), and possibly TFA (fat guy is shown only until "R1" is reported shot down).
