Yes Headhunter still goes for 100ex+ every league, and they even recently added a few items more expensive than a Headhunter. Current best belt in the game (Mageblood, look up how disgustingly broken it is, allows you to get permanent uptime magic Flasks coupled with flask enchantments that give flask effectiveness) goes for 1-2 mirrors. They also recently added a battlepass and the current one rewards you with an Alt-art Headhunter skin (but not the Headhunter itself of course).

The goal isn't to collect all of the cards. That would be an inherently flawed mindset way to approach the game, or any CCG for the matter.

I have a very, very aggressive stance on being anti-P2W to the point where I've trolled the MMORPG subreddit for over a decade now. I seriously believe that cash shop locked cosmetics is pay to win. Master Duel's system is inherently designed to trap people who are not willing to exploit it.
The fact that it allows you to exploit it is a net gain. You will not find another game that has this kind of system. You can create whatever deck you want with like 4 hours of time, even less if you're creating accounts during an Exhibition event. This weekend, I created a new account to create a Mathmech deck and put another account in plat for this season and over the course of an evening I created a Mathmech deck, an Exodia Deck, and 75% of like 2 other decks I could have finished with the 5k gems my account currently has.

Also, based on your use of the term MTX, I assume you've put in a significant amount of time into Path of Exile, an inherently pay to win game with one of the most egregious cosmetic cash shops in the industry and one of the most predatory lootbox systems where GGG gives streamers boxes to open every league while also investing into game systems that reward RMTing.

Master Duel
Its system is inherently easy to break. Every new account you create gives you 5k Gems which, with around an hour of work is more or less enough to make whatever deck you want. I have like 10 MD accounts (using Steam) to field whatever deck I want, and if new cards come out? Create a new account.

The game doesn't even have a system that rewards seniority in any way, and actually punishes you (by not giving out rewards) for any account that's less than like 3 days old.

The 1st problem would likely be trying to unlock or cold boot your work PC for the first time and you can't log in because you need a password. auto-generated password doesn't help with this problem and creates a new one of trying to copy it from your phone or somewhere else.

Well this is solved by not using company-provided hardware.

I'd like to try shogi some day but I could never get into chess so I doubt that shogi is any better as both games are heavily based on knowing plays and being able to predict/adapt to your opponents plays.

I don't like Delta. Really isn't more to it than that. His posts greatly upset me so I decided to do the "mature" thing and block him whenever I see him or one of his alts post instead of potentially lash out on him. We have had some minor back and forth recently as we both post in the anime thread, and he doesn't like that I've blocked him instead of just ignoring him. I simply do not understand why the rest of the people on this board like him, I find his posts very offensive and basically symbolize everthing I disagree with about life.

My current phone is a Pixel 3 I bought for like $200USD last year right before they became hard to get after Slack stopped supporting their app on Android 6.
Your best option is probably a Pixel 4 but if you want to go $50USD cheaper you can probably still find a Pixel 3.

I am well aware of GameFAQs' declining userbase. I do not live in a delusion that PotD or GameFAQs will be here forever, especially when FAQs as a concept are not really relevant anymore. The reality is that GameFAQs should have died over a decade ago, but somehow managed to cling on even when the age of the message board ended in ~2010.

The problems never change.
Children (I don't care if you're a manchild dog walker who's "afraid" to work or an actual adolescent) have access to mommy or daddy's credit card (either by stealing it or otherwise) and parents will just buy whatever they want for them.

Anime season's done for me and anime of the season is:
Takagi-San 3
It was obvious to me going into this season that either Akebi or Takagi would win anime of the season for me. Akebi decided to take different route, and didn't get as far into the manga as I wanted it to. Takagi, on the other hand exceeded my expectations and the movie to close out the series will hopefully be fantastic as well.
