Imagine if they had Sidney in the opening scene. All the viewers would be going apeshit. But then they twist it on us and she actually survives the attack lol

Did anyone even ask for another Scream film?

Eh, I'm down with it. I thought Scream 4 was better than Scream 3, and as long as they kill off a major character in a good way in Scream 5, I have no issues with it. I just figure since all three OG's survived the fourth film, there's no point in making another unless one of them finally bites the dust. The whole "remakes can't mess with the original" spiel was done in part 4, so none of the characters have that plot armor now. It'd be redundant for all three to survive a fifth film.

Wouldn't be the first time they had a major character as the opening kill. Cotton Weary in Scream 3 still pisses me off.

He was a megasavant who lacked a corpus callosum, which evidently allowed his brain to process information without filtering it, the latter being something a normal brain would do. He could read two pages simultaneously, retaining 98% of what he read. Knew every ZIP code, highway, area code in the United States; every leader of every country; every sports stat, could immediately tell you what day of the week any particular date fell on, anything you can possibly imagine. He was a literal human Google.

Dustin Hoffman met him in order to learn more about his character in Rain Man, and said to Kim "I may be the star, but you are the Heavens."

I appreciate Hamill's acting, too. I remember when I was a kid, I initially thought Uncle Owen was a jerk (in hindsight, I realize he was concerned for Luke's well-being), but when I saw how Luke reacted to this sight, even as a kid I realized there was a deep bond between Luke and them, they were his only family, now they're gone.

Interesting, I wonder what biological or physiological processes are at play in that case. I suppose vaccination establishes a "firewall" of sorts that prevents the virus from even taking hold, whereas an asymptomatic carrier can be rife with the virus even if they don't suffer any consequences.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I mean if someone is asymptomatic, that means they carry the virus but don't suffer any consequences from it; isn't that essentially the same thing as a vaccination? Or does vaccinating have an effect on contagion as well?
