Someone who hasn't watched those movies has no fucking business clicking that topic. And if they wanted to, they should understand through the flimsiest common sense that there are going to be major plot points included.

Moderations are stupid when they put the onus on ME for a user stupidly clicking a topic they shouldn't have clicked.

I remember one time I was studying trivia (because I'm a nerd), and I started to get a euphoric high as if I just smoked a blunt. It literally felt like a weed high. I hope to encounter that again. I could tell people knowledge is my drug. :)

It is my belief that he is widely revered largely due to the circumstances of his presidency, as he carried America through the First World War. All three presidents made choices that were (and still are) controversial, but are largely overlooked and whitewashed by historians because of the paradigm-shifting nature of the conflicts through which they guided the nation.

In Revenge of the Sith, after Anakin tells Mace Windu that Palpatine is the Sith Lord they've been searching for, Mace tells Anakin that he has earned Mace's trust, and instructs him to wait in the Council Chamber until Mace returns.

If Anakin had just listened and stayed put, Mace would've killed Sidious and then they would've finally granted Anakin the rank of Jedi Master.

Why else would he have Anakin wait in the Council Chamber?

Makes it that much sadder. :(

What do you think is the meaning of this line from "Sound of Silence?"

I interpret it as a comment on how society glorifies certain historical or religious figures as paragons of wisdom and truth, not realizing that such wisdom can just as easily come from any random person, even those deemed "outcasts" by society.

Goku was able to hold his own against Beerus just as SSJ God (red hair). This is SSJ Blue, an even stronger form, and he legit just deactivated it because he realized that the power Jiren just gave a brief glimpse of is far beyond anything Goku could even hope to achieve or battle against even as SSJ Blue.

That's far more credit through Goku's terror than any other antagonist has ever been given.

Not even Beerus or Broly ever had Goku shook like this. Jiren is the GOAT.

I have one that I call "extraxenoliminalism."

Liminal means relating to limits or boundaries. Xeno means foreign, and extra means beyond.

So basically it's my philosophy of working so hard, becoming so efficient and just being such a beast in general that others regard your abilities as "foreign" to themselves (hence "xenoliminalism") but I push myself to go even further beyond that, hence the "extra."

I was wondering about this because Qui-Gon is essentially the only Jedi who always fully supported and believed in Anakin. The prequels don't really give us any insight into Anakin's reaction to Qui-Gon's death other than the ending of TPM, at the funeral of Qui-Gon, when Anakin somberly asks Obi-Wan "what's gonna happen to me now?"

When Anakin turned to the Dark Side, did all his positive memories (including of Qui-Gon) just disappear? Did he still remember Qui-Gon as Darth Vader? And if so, did he actually think of him fondly? And especially after Vader was redeemed at the end of ROTJ, did he think of Qui-Gon's insistence that Anakin was the Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force?

I find this very interesting.
